7665981 Spike wants to ask out Sweetie Belle, so he practices on his Rarity doll. Note how Rarity gradually starts acting more and more like Sweetie Belle as it goes along, since Spike's imagining it.

The subversion that he was actually practicing with a Rarity doll was superb, though I feel a bit guilty about myself for not realising this earlier than I had.

Took three readings before I noticed what was really happening. Hard to say whether it was too subtle or the consequences of late night reading on my end. A nice little story, though.

Didn't even read the story yet, but the title made me burst out laughing because it reminded me of the Kentucky Fried Movie's Fist Full Of Yen parody. If you've never seen it, look it up, it's hilarious.
7998424 One of my favorite comedies. The rest of the movie was forgettable, but I love "A Fistful of Yen." The bit about the prisoners in different cells not knowing where they are, etc., always gets me. It was a comedy of extraordinary magnitude.

There isn't much. It's barely any longer. I just liked this one enough that I wanted to get it over 1k words so I could solo post it. Any of these that barely clear 1k words aren't going to add anything significant, but they will get a substantially bigger audience. It' hard to get people to read anthologies.
