Pumpkin was in the tub. She was washing the crystal dust and the dirt out of her pelt, she and Spike had tried a new spell, it had not ended well. She had blown herself and Spike threw separate wall's and she had landed in a puddle. Spike landed on Starlights just in time shield. Twilight had been mad, Starlight had been to, but after finding out how it had happened, started laughing.
"I was just like that when I first tried the big spells too. At least the room is still there" she had said as she continued to her room. After helping pick up the pieces, Twilight taught her how to fix things like holes in the wall, she had instead blown even more wall away. After three tries she was able to fix it. But at the cost of her, Spike, and Twilight cleanliness. Twilight told Spike to take Pumpkin home and get cleaned up.
"Can I come again tomorrow?" Pumpkin had asked Spike, but Twilight intervened.
"Oh no, I have to go help prepare the Gala, I won't be here for the next 3 day's. You two can't be here without me to fix the messes you make." Twilight said as she left to go clean herself up. Spike walked Pumpkin home
"Sorry," Spike said to her "But it is Twilight castle, but we can do other things together after the Gala."
"AFTER!? But that`s like 4 days away. And I have a Family ruin next week, We won't get to see each other again in forever"
"it's exactly 4 days away, I'm sure you can live without me for 4 days, plus the extra day for the reunion. You'll be fine" they hadn't talked many afterward and Spike had left after he said hi to her parents. She`d been told to take a bath right away. So here she was, sitting in the tub, playing with a Rubber Ducky when it hit her If she went to the Gala too, Spike would have to spend the next 4 days with her! She jumped out of the Tub, toweled off, put in her bow, and ran out yelling
"I`ll be right back I have to go ask Spike a Question" she was outside before her parents could respond, she ran down to the castle and got there just in time to see the Twilight saying goodbye to Spike.
"....and remember, you and Pumpkin can`t go into the castle with each other, or so help me I`ll..."
"SPIKE!!" Pumpkin yelled, cutting of Twilight.
"*sigh* Pumpkin, it`s late, and I`m about to leave, you and Spike can`t pla..."
"Can I go with you?" She asked Spike, causing Twilight to stop, and Spike to freeze"
"Come again I don`t think I hear you right?" Spike said putting his hand behind his ear
'Can I go with you to the Gala?"
