Truth or myth? Ancient lost civilization or just an old pony's tale?

No pony has ever seen one, and most haven't even heard of them. But Lyra knows that these wonderful creatures are more than just old legends, and she's going to find out... and possibly drive her roommate insane in the process.

When pushed to the limit, the nine mercenaries escape to Equestria leaving all their problems behind and starting anew.

With no way back, they must adapt to their new lives and try to fit in into pony society and they must protect them from the unfinished business they left behind.

Emerald moved from New Colt City less than two weeks ago and she's brought her love of tabletop games with her. After answering an and making friends with Lyra and Bon-Bon, Emerald is really enjoying how simple her life is now. That is, until one day after having to call a game short and taking off for work, she forgets something and turns around, only to stumble into something a bit over her head.

Words from the Author: I've had this idea in my head for such a long time. It comes from many jokes I've had made when I call myself a "Dungeon Master". So, I decided to run with the idea. It's a one shot, meaning I'm most likely not going to continue on with this. It's just meant to be something fun.

Due to Jamie's big mouth and a not so gentle arrival in Equestria, it may take some time leave this strange colorful planet.
With M.E.G.A.S stuck in a new civilization to screw up, how will the ponies cope with the mayhem? Princess Twilight will certainly need the help of all her friends to watch over the human visitor who consumes all before him. Not to mention a red headed woman claiming to be the last human resistance soldier. At least the skinny jerk doesn't pose much of a threat, right?

If you haven't seen the show, this will still make some sense, but you should go watch it. If you don't like giant robots and screaming awesome then shame on you.

Twilight Sparkle had spent well over 24 hours working on a book that was mysteriously left on the doorstep of the library, after many hours she created a spell using the knowledge from the book to create a gateway between her world and a different dimension.
The Engineer, having realized that the battle they were waging against the machines was quickly turning foul, created a machine to teleport him and his ally's to another, safer place to escape from what would inevitably become a very painful fate.
When these two factors were both utilized, however, both sides will find themselves with alot more than they had bargained for...
Authors note, There will be more sad and serious moments in this story, I would have put the tags as such, but comedy and sad cannot both be used in the tags.

The legendary Nigel Thornberry is brought to Equestria by unknown forces and now must rely on the help from the ponies to return home, however circumstances and fate might have other plans.
