After reading a book by Spitfire's personal trainer, Rainbow Dash decides that the best way to get closer to her ultimate goal of joining the Wonderbolts is to add strength training to her practices by having one of her friends ride her. However, when she decides that Twilight Sparkle is just the mare for the job, the pegasus gets a bit more than she bargained for.

Rainbow Dash finally gets her chance to try out for the Wonderbolts. She fears failure, and is confident of success, but there is more to Princess Celestia's test than meets the eye.

In the aftermath of The Washouts, rebellious former Wonderbolt cadet Lightning Dust is feeling a bit worse for wear. Can a visit from her old colleague Rainbow Dash lift her spirits at all?

Well, let's find out.

SPOILERS for those who haven't seen the latest episodes.

On an otherwise normal day, Fleetfoot comes around to Ponyville to announce a little try-out/competition. The prize: training under the Wonderbolts, and an appearance as their warm-up act on one of their shows. It's the opportunity of a lifetime for Rainbow Dash, and she's not leaving anything to chance. She's had it with the goof-ups trailing behind her, little blemishes on her reputation adding up to one giant stain.

So she decides to ask her friends for some help. Rarity's got the Crusaders mixing up some new things for the spa, there's no one around to catch her, and the fillies just stare at her so cutely, so she agrees to get a makeover. What she wants is a way to make ponies forget all the embarrassing things she's done.

What she gets is a few lessons on what it means to be a high-flying pegasus, the value of her friends, and the power held in a look.

Quite a bit of side characters to this four-parter, gratuitous rhyming in chapter 1,
general awesomeness from two Wonderbolts, Big Mac and other assorted surprises. Aesops are added later to get the look and feel of the show more into it.

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony Friendship is Magic What If?: Volume 3

It's back for a fourth time, that series that seeks to answer the question "What if that episode had been written differently?"!

This is the biggest installment yet, sixteen episodes are up for a rewrite, and among them are six episodes from Season 6. Including one episode being stretched into a two parter, and another two parter being rewritten. But which episodes are among the sixteen will that be featured here? You'll have to read to find out.

They include one episode being expanded in a two parter, another taking place in a timeline with a different episode order, and even two bonus chapters involving a different character being the star. But what episodes will make the cut of this ten episode collection? Well, you'll have to read to find out.

Yet again, I must reiterate that all of the episodes that appear here and are rewritten are the result of my personal opinion, so don't get upset if an episode you like is on the list or an episode you didn't like isn't on the list.
