I don't see how this ISN'T an MLP fanfic.....
I can kind of understand not considering it a fanfic for My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, although it involves a parody of a protagonist, it neither portrays them in any way similar to the show, or deal with Equestria in general. It is a great fiction to freak someone out, a nice little horror story, good writing, but not really involved beyond the main character's bronydom. That said I have seen less related things get put on this site so... yeah... it should have made it in.

Jake The Army Guy awoke to an odd droning noise in his otherwise empty quarters, his sleep-fogged mind sluggishly trying to recognize the sound. After but a few moments, he realized why the noise sounded familiar, having heard it often from watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic...
It was the sound of Twilight Sparkle's unicorn-horn using magic.

"See, that's what we call a 'beaver tail'." Jake lashed out with a vicious uppercut to Twilight's jaw. The unicorn was sent flying, crashing into the drum kit near the foot of the bed with a resounding crunch. Stars danced in her eyes as Jake rose from the bed.
"It's a safety feature on some pistols. See, you have to engage it on both the trigger and the grip, something you wouldn't really do when holding it with tel—"
With a feral roar, Twilight's horn blazed to life, bathing the dark room in furious purple light. Before she could even cast a spell, Jake delivered a savage back-hand to her horn. Sparks showered from her head as Twilight cried out in agony, falling onto her back.
Her vision swam; her ears rung; an electric shock ran up and down her horn, sending waves of nausea through her prone form. She grunted, attempting to rise to her hooves, when a weight slammed down on her chest and a hand latched onto her aching horn, gripping it painfully tight. She tried to engage her magic, but the firm hand crushed harder, only a few tiny sparks falling from the tip of her horn. Her vision finally came into focus as the cool feeling of a gun barrel pressed lightly into her forehead. Right before the roar of the gun, she heard his voice.
"Friendship is magic, bitch."
