Equestria has been watched over by Princess Celestia for over one thousand years. As alicorns, they have a very long lifespan, however, even though their appearance doesn't show it, they do become weaker with time. Twilight, is given one final lesson that in time, one must learn to say goodbye.

Neither have I. This was never intended to be a lunaverse story, it just made the most sense to have the next in like take the throne. I mean, I could have easily turned it into a discord returns fic but I chose not to.

Thus, ends the time of Celestia. She will be missed, and welcome. To the era of Luna. I would imagine that now after Celly's passing that Luna and Twi will become closer and she might take up being her new mentor. You know? Set down the finished book and start opening a new one. I would love to see a series of sequels to this on everything that happens after Luna takes the throne. Just imagine. If Luna became her new mentor, I would think that Celly taught Twi the basics and had her master all there is to casting magic and also teaching her light spells; then Luna would continue her study and teach her the untold secrets and powers of magic that Celestia never taught her and everything else about magic..
