Hold on. How are Twilight and Sunny interacting as they are? AU or not, they're separated by centuries at best. I haven't read it yet, so maybe I'm missing something.

Please more! I love this duel generation. Id love to see more of the characters interacting with each other. Like Zipp/Dash Rarity/Pipp or especially Spike/Sparky. It would be adorable having Spike being a big brother figure for him.

For anyone wanting an expansion of this universe I can’t promise anything. I wrote this while half asleep, intending it to be a one off.

I mean you won't get bored over that town there's a lot of crazy things always happens in that small town
This is a pretty interesting story and seeing two generation come together it's always nice to see that and seeing sunny and Twilight becoming Pals throughout the years is always nice to see and even having conversation with each other and talk about their friends and everything again although it would be very interesting if Twilight's friends interacts with Sunny's friends but anyway its a nice story keep up the good work
So I'm curious on why you say Celestia is Sunny's mom. Its an interesting thought, but was just curious if there was a reason behind it

This is a pretty entertaining AU and, yeah, it IS rather amusing to see the two Generations co-existing side by side. The admitted broad strokes take on this provides a lot of potential For example, if Sunny and her friends had their adventures at the same time as Twilight and her friends (give or take five or ten years), obviously magic would not have been sealed away in the first place. However, I could still see Sunny gaining those "hard light magic wings and horn" from ending a war between three cities with the help of her friends both old and new. And, of course, Haven wouldn't be Queen if Celestia (and later Twilight) were still ruler. I could, however, see Haven as a major businessmare affectionately nicknamed "Queen".
Sunny being Celestia's adopted daughter is a really sweet thought for this AU too. Also liked the discussions of the whereabouts of their other friends (ESPECIALLY Spike and Sparky). And Sunset as a Phoenix Alicorn is another great touch.

I just felt it would be something Celestia would do if one of her personal students lost their parents and Arygle still raised Sunny as a single parent but passed away before Sunny reached adulthood in this AU.

That raises the question of what Sunny did to become Celestia's student in the first place. Sunset and Twilight both did something big to earn it obviously.
Too many questions and no answers. This is why this universe needs more love.

Actually this is a answer in the story.
This line refers to how Twilight and Sunny became Celestia’s students. In Twilight’s case it was the magical surge during her entrance exam that, among other things made the newly hatched Spike grow so huge he burst through the walls and roof of the tower where the exam was taking place. And in Sunny’s case she used Earth Pony magic to accidentally make a tomato plant grow as big as Canterlot Castle, which is what got Celestia’s attention. Like Twilight and Sunset, Sunny’s magic was simply more powerful than her peers.
And I see you and others asking for an expansion of this universe, but I can’t promise anything. I wrote this story simply because I love Twilight and Sunny as characters and wanted to write some fun back and forth banter between the two, it was intended as a one off. I may come back and expand on this universe in the future, but right now I have other projects I want to focus on.

So, given this is set around the G4 time, it could be said that, in terms of G4 Earth Ponies in general, there would be a bit of Adaptational Badflank (not the correct phrasing, but I try very hard to watch my language on public forums) because they already developed G5 Earth Pony magic.

Understood, though I still stand by my earlier guess (see my first response to this story a few weeks ago) that Sunny earned her hard-light horn and wings from helping end a three-city war.
Though I'm respectful enough to admit that I could easily be wrong.
This was a nice story. This world should have more stories my imagination isn't good enough to form an idea of everything Sunny and Twilight just described.
