REALLY good work on this one-shot. Yeah, the stuff about sentimental attachment is an excellent point. REALLY loved the work going into the dialogue, characterizations and general wrap-up. And, yeah, the stuff about the lantern going missing again, the REASON for the sentimental attachment (aside from it ALSO being a powerful magic artifact) and the stuff about Sparky taking it by accident with his magic breath (the little guy HAS to be a descendant of Spike, but we don't know by how many generations), whoa! Appropriately emotional with a good resolution.
All in all, quite well done.
I love how so many recognise the art style rather than discussing about the story
This is a nice story and it makes sense that Sunny has a strong attachment to memento's of her father. Sparky accidentily teleporting stuff with his fire breath seems like something that would happen.
