This story is a sequel to Equestria Girls: The Apple of Death's Eye

Feeling that her friends need some extra combat training and experience, Twilight signs them all up for a training regiment on Themyscira, the home of Wonder Woman and the Amazons. But while there, the CHS eight and their teammates find themselves defending the island when evil forces threatened to besiege the Amazons and their queen's home. Can the power of their lantern rings and the magic of friendship be enough to defeat the evil and save Wonder Woman's birthplace?

Hey there. Thanks greatly for getting this story started. I really appreciate the work going into the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. So, Twilight was getting worried enough about the recent performances of her and her friends in their hero duties to feel they needed to learn to fight better instead of being overly reliant on their powers (and, to be fair, with most of them having both power rings AND their geodes, it's a pretty easy trap to fall into). And the commentary on three of those recent battles was also appreciated.

Well, on to the next chapter.

Thanks for the comment and the support of this series:twilightsmile::raritywink:

Excellent work, once more, on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Really appreciated the points both Twilight AND Rainbow have made (Twilight in that the purpose of this trip was to improve their combat skills and teamwork and Rainbow in that everybody learns at a different pace). Also loved the reactions to the arrival on Paradise Island and Twilight's chat with Hippolyta.

Certainly looking forward to more of this (especially which members of Wonder Woman's rogue's gallery and possibly other villains are going to be making extra trouble).

Again, you are quite welcome.

Not a problem. Once again, it was my pleasure.

Another well done chapter. Definitely appreciate the work going into the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Really liked the details of how the girls were doing in getting the hang of the training (some better than others, but all managing to do at least decently thus far). Also appreciated Diana and Angela's dialogue concerning the training methods and state of the world before the girls acknowledged that this is one of the few ways to truly know their limits. And it sounds like Circe and Loki are planning to amp up the difficulty in their own ways (whether it's just them or with back-up from other members of the rogue's galleries of Wonder Woman and Thor is still anybody's guess as either would be quite in character for these two).

But, anyway, definitely looking forward to more of this.

Once more, you're very welcome.

Again, wonderful job on the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. REALLY appreciated the surprise from the late-winter weather in the middle of summer and the bit of Norse mythology with that casket. And, yeah, they found out about Loki and Circe have teamed up. LOVED the teamwork with that Minotaur/Centaur hybrid and then getting some help at just the right time from Jane Foster/Valkyrie and getting the needed info to the Amazons.

VERY certainly looking forward to more of this.

You're very welcome and that's all right.

Yet another well done chapter. Definitely appreciate the work going into the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up. Certainly liked Loki getting (probably rightly) concerned about Circe's "misspeak" (given he, himself, has been on both ends of the double-cross deal plenty of times), as well as Twilight providing a logical explanation concerning why she and the other Rainbooms have a higher resistance to Circe's magic than the other heroes, Circe transforming the Amazons for her own sick amusement and Loki actually providing that helpful clue to the Rainbooms and Squirrel Girl.

REALLY looking forward to more of this.

Hey there. Thanks again for getting the next chapter up. Took a while but was quite worth the wait. REALLY loved the work going into the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Yeah, I appreciate how Loki acknowledged that the girls had understandable issues in trusting him because of his past actions. Also liked the bit about Loki admitting to being "DB Cooper" while under the influence of the Lasso of Truth. Added a welcome bit of humor without detracting from the rather serious situation with Circe.

Most assuredly looking forward to more of this.

Quite all right and you're quite welcome, in reverse order.

REALLY liked the work that went into this latest chapter. Absolutely adored Twilight correctly recalling the weakness of the Achilles' statue as well as Ms. Marvel, Pinkie and Sunset recalling the trick from "the Empire Strikes Back" in dealing with the statue before Loki took care of the casket. And it sounds like next chapter is going to be the showdown with Circe.

Anyway, the exchanges, characterizations, action and future chapter set-up are all wonderfully done and I'm definitely looking forward to more of this.

As always, you're quite welcome.

REALLY good work on this latest chapter. Definitely liked the effort going into the exchanges, characterization, action, general wrap-up and epilogue/possible future chapter set-up. ESPECIALLY liked Loki calling Circe out on her hypocrisy (i.e. pointing out that SHE was planning to betray HIM) as well as the teamwork going into Circe's defeat as well as making sure everybody got off that formerly flying island safely. Circe's reaction to where she was imprisoned was also priceless.

Definitely looking forward to the epilogue. And Happy Holidays to you and your family and friends.

You're quite welcome. And that's all right.

Whoa mama. Definitely liked the work going into the exchanges, characterizations, general wrap-up and future story set-up. The celebration for the victory over Circe was beautiful stuff as well as it being acknowledged that Loki still had some stuff to answer to. And that message at the end concerning a Contest of Champions? I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of her friends ALSO got similar messages (and a fair number of the older heroes as well). But, yes, that is a good lead-off to the next big adventure. Especially the possibility of the gang encountering counterparts to themselves (including from several Equestrias), several different versions of the more experienced heroes as well as assorted heroes from the Hanna-Barbera multiverse, assorted heroes from the Disney multiverse, Speedy Gonzales (perhaps the most truly heroic of the Looney Tunes since the considerable majority of his cartoons showed him explicitly working to help others on purpose almost immediately after getting called in), Mighty Mouse, Underdog and too many others to list.

Sorry. Got a little caught up in my thoughts.

Anyway, really looking forward to more stories of this series.
