I'm not going to try to tell you what to do, but the current pace is kinda disappointing. The chapters are a little short for a 1-2 day wait, and only one chapter every now and then actually advancing the story makes the pacing kinda all over the place. Again, not trying to tell you what to do, but it's starting to get a little difficult to keep supporting it.
Eh, it's an interesting concept but the constant "Oops, I didn't meant to say that!" moments and the fact that he realizes them but absolutely doesn't nothing about them bores me. Just have Spike commit to the idea of being manipulative patriarch instead of these regular non-apologies. Frustrating read as undoing the whole thing is completely possible and not that complicated but the story tries to sell me the idea that the whole thing is happening accidentally. Yet Spike acts like he has to fix this or is worried about his powers, not buying it.
But yeah, quite ambition filled concept, given that reality's rules get modified every yes/no question. Maybe a bit too complicated of a concept for the author.
Missed one yes/no question right there and I think I remember several back in the other chapters.
I agree with Tulikettu the accidental “I didn’t mean that questions” are kinda pushing my suspension of disbelief. It makes me think the root is manipulating spike to intentionally say the wrong questions.

Since the Root of Honesty mentioned the only things the power is unable to affect being itself and the Root, it is safe to assume that Spike, while being aware of the changes caused by the power, is himself not immune to them (as also shown with various questions like: "Do I only impregnate women when I intend to?" & “Hey Cadence do I believe every word you say?”). So ever since he said:
he is from time to time pushed to ask question he doesn't intend to, to uphold the promise he made to Rarity. Would also reasonably follow that he can't ask any question to undo anything he's done to keep his promise to Rarity, or ask a question to make him not do anything he can to make Rarity's dream come true.

That’s a good explanation. Thank you!

This explanation is the one I've been writing this story under the assumption of, but I've clearly not made it clear in the text if people are being confused and I will try and make it clearer in future chapters... somehow.
Been enjoying this story, so just wanted to say a few things, one that's a concern.
I thought it was pretty clear Spike was asking these questions at this point because yes he promised and asked a question that forces him to fulfill Rarity's wish. So I've had no issues with that thus far. Kinda surprised there seem to be people that didn't pick up on that. I mean the story spells it out in a few instances.
It's a shame you aren't into genderswaps, but it is what it is. I'll enjoy at least seeing Shining Armor swapped. (Really wish I had time to write another story. I've had a stupid idea of a harem being made of a ton of genderswapped guys for a while now. Yeah sorry to those who don't care for it, but it's VERY much my jam.)
Last of all is my concern. You've given the option of finding the other roots of Harmony in this story, but I honestly don't think that's a good idea. I really think if you wanted to do something with the other roots, maybe should be its own separate story. Simply put, we have Spike going around being forced to ask questions to make people into his harem. I think you mentioned somewhere that only one root works for one person? If so then what members will be left for the other roots? Like if Spike gets the entire main six, and then like all the princesses and stuff you'd have to start scraping the bottom of the barrel eventually for anyone to get other girls. It just seems like it'd become a pain to write and a jumbled mess. But that's just my observation.

Thanks for your comment. In regards to your second comment if its of any interest to you chyoa where I've also posted this story allows people to add their own chapters. And whilst I don't want to write genderswaps I won't stop people from writing them there.
As for your concern about the other roots of harmony. The idea I had was that only members of the harem like Cadence would be the ones to gain access to the other roots. The idea that it starts small and steamrolls out of control. Whilst I understand your concerns about the 'scraping the bottom of the barrel' I still want to deal with some options like Fleur that aren't played with as often.

I would love to see spike get fleur!
Niece? How is that possible?

But twilight isn’t her nephew either
There's a big part of Starlight that wouldn't mind this sort of thing... but she'd be in it for the calm, order, serenity, peace, all those chaotic minds made peaceful and still, no more noise in the symphony.
By the time Cadence is done with her, this is no force on Earth is that gonna stop this Twilight Sparkle from dragging Flash Sentry though the portal and claiming him.

Well Twilight won’t be interested in Flash when Cadence is done with her.
Plus Twilight isn’t interested in Flash in this story, she has her eyes on a different unicorn turned human
