I'm imagining Anon did a Bugs Bunny and litterally burrowed his way to Equestria and that explains how he ended up popping out of the ground. Its just too bad Dash doesn't date tunnel dwellers, or extremist geeks for that matter.

Perhaps if Anon had worked out at the gym more, ate less unhealthy food, and developed a bit of a competitive side with a fair bit of good sportsmareship in mind. Maybe, just maybe, he could've gone out for lunch with her sometime.
