I love this story and the changes. It makes that finale battle a mistake that the animators made. I wonder if Cozy will tell her backstory, her past and why she tried to remove magic?

It's partly so the fic is easier to spot, but also for readers so ones who get in early aren't overwhelmed by the chapters all at once (you may note even Netflix now is dropping its binge model for some shows), and a little so it's easier to respond to comments with improvements to the chapters to come (while they're all in theory finished, it's definitely I think better that I've given them some last-minute polish...even chapter 2 I touched up a little earlier today, actually, so maybe I should've held off longer).

Great chapter, I enjoy how the heroes are having to face an actual crisis and the villains are using their brains.
Also, I noticed a typo. You wrote ""But Moondancer, she's, they-" Spike started, but Moondancer put a hoof to his lips", easy hiccup. It should be Minuette who put a hoof to Spike's lips.

Well, there's an epilog to fix! Not that my changes are huge, just that it's a bit of added fun at the end showing Twilight not as some far-away queen in Canterlot, but a close-by one in Ponyville, with her friends as equals. It was a huge waste of potential to make a round table like King Arthur, symbolizing equality among a group serving the realm, and then have Celestia and Luna go LOL ABANDON IT AND YOUR FRIENDS FOR CANTERLOT.

Unfortunately, I don't think there's much story to be had there. I've had an idea for a Cozy Glow fic about her being raised, but not as a sequel to this (it would rely on an...alternate solution to Cozy Glow). The main problem is simply that there's nowhere to go unless she goes back to evil, which would just serve to make it look like the universe wants to invalidate Twilight's entire point.
