Scootaloo has moved in with Rainbow Dash, and doesn't seem to know when to quit with fun at Dash's expense. Dash'll need all the help she can get to sort things out and get back at Scootaloo.

What if Rainbow Dash was born a griffon, and Twilight an alicorn princess? A seemingly small change to two, but with significant ramifications.
Twilight lost her crown over her response to an incident involving griffons' predatory nature, but now she'll have to trust one of them, on top of braving an Everfree full of creatures even more happy to eat ponies, to defeat Nightmare Moon...and it won't be quite the picnic it was in the show.

Expect content akin to No Second Prances (depressed Trixie Manticore mouth dive episode), i.e. somewhat heavy drama/topics and ponies being gobbled up.

This is a slightly more logical version of how the show ended, replacing unnecessary dead-end plot threads like the Windigoes and Twilight running off to the Crystal Empire with focusing on intelligent character choices and more emotion, while also trying to be a little more varied between full-on humor and seriousness.

Applejack always brushed off Apple Bloom when she asked about how her parents died, and Twilight loves a puzzle, but they decide to get their answer straight from the horse's mouth...and wish they didn't.

Warning: Very gross.

A myth, a fable, just a silly thing mom would tell you to make you laugh, right?. What's a little time in an old restaurant...? It's not like its limp noodles are dangerous...

Rainbow's home is a luxurious, big house seemingly separate from any particular town. Twilight finds out why as Rainbow explains what a Cloud Redoubt is and how you win one...in ritual combat. Despite getting her curiosity satisfied, Twilight almost wishes she hadn't.

Pinkie's tail is a lot bigger on the inside, and certainly will keep three fillies hidden when they get in trouble, but is it really so easy to get out? They certainly think so...
Takes place sometime during Season 4 (before Twilight gets a castle).

The episode was okay, but it had a lot of...unusual choices, from the sleeping arrangements in Trixie's wagon (hammocks sandwiched by stuff on both sides is inefficient even if the wagon's bigger on the inside) to the huge deal about being thrifty with food combined with buying premade luxuries instead of bringing any.
And Trixie not having to pee in a multi-day staring contest joke? That's just a waste of comedy potential.
It's so bizarre that an episode specifically about uncomfortable lack of privacy/luxury and needing to scrape by on food seems to take place in an alternate universe where ponies' only problems with those are that they're noisy sleepers and want fancy cakes.
