you clearly have read "galaxy in flames" horus heresy book but i would still like to ask few questions. In that book Horus, Erebus and demon talked about the war they would wage. In it Horus said that he would not use demons help yet sou there was no demons on istvaan 3. Sou why and how was this world eater taken in the warp and survived for ten thousand years? And how does he knew about god emperor? because during that time it was not a thing and practising such things would end up him dead. And what comes to not killing xenos, well he would still believe in imperial truth switch is that galaxy in mankind's birth right sou there is no place for xenos. And he would not have any problems killing innocents or civilians, infact they were famous for their butchery. In istvaan 3 they went full on killing thousands of civilians ho attacked them with knifes and hands.

The Blood God tires of his loyalty to the Corpse God, and so sends to a planet where he can only kill the enemies of Chaos.

Ermmm... Look, I'm not an expert on all things Warhammer, but aren't Khorne and the Emperor arch enemies?

This is getting interesting

but I will have no more of this "sir" nonsense, refer to me as Aries alien." The knight said, baffling Twilight.

Okay that is a insult for his pride as a astartes. It is either his full title or nothing, remember that space marines commonly think they are better that others, especially world eaters. For a example space wolfs do not want to be called space wolfs in their word only ignorant and fools use it. They want to be called vylka fenrika.

ours is the first xenos race that I have encountered that was not hostile at first contact

that is a lie there was interex, and there was aspirax and few nomad eldars, but they were in a way of imperiums conquest.

"The Daemons come from a Realm called The Warp, within this Realm, emotions become physical beings, these Daemons, as I said before, are embodiments of pure hatred, as such, they cannot exist in the material plane without a blood sacrifice, or possessing living beings, it isn't uncommon for one to do the latter in order to enact the former and bring forth an invasion, so long as Luna keeps an eye out for them invading the minds of your people, it is doubtful that they can launch an effective attack, but in preparation for such a thing, the best course of action would be for me to train your military for a full scale war."

How does he know all this? He is from 30 millenium, during thous times they were warp entities not demons, he would not have any idea how demons work because no one knew in thous times.

Okay, please, please, please get an editor. The story itself, while interesting, is in desperate need of one.

BURN THE SOLAR HERETICS OF THE SOLAR EMPIRE
FOR THE NEW LUNAR REPUBLIC AND THE EMPEROR

My god, man. I desperately wanted to like this story. Really, I did. The opener was good. It effectively introduced the main character and his struggles, the action was not too over the top, and the premise was good.

But I had to throw in the towel at chapter 3.. It was just a constant barrage of one run-on sentence after the other. It completely ruined my immersion. You seriously need an editor.

Response: It sounds like 'I vanna krush you' when you say it out loud.

9548629
I know, you are not the first person to bring this up and I doubt you'll be the last, but I cannot aquire an editor at this time, and believe me, I try to cut down the dialogue as much as possible because I am well of this short-coming in my writing ability. (You should've seen my first fanfic on FanFiction.net, I've come MILES compared to that train wreck.)

The dialogue is not really the problem. Let's use the opener as an example

His howls of rage drowned out the screams of the Daemons that came at him from every direction, he had long since lost track of time, he only focused on killing every enemy before him in the name of the God Emperor.

That's three sentences written as a single one. Here's how it should look

His howls of rage drowned out the screams of the Daemons that came at him from every direction. He had long since lost track of time. He only focused on killing every enemy before him in the name of the God Emperor.

small nitpicks but there they are.

And unlike the common men and women of the Astra Militarum, I cannot simply stop being a warrior.

During great crusade army made of normal humans was called Imperial army, and they did not use commissars like you said few chapters back. And you said mechcanicus at one point switch is not true during great crusade, when they were united they were called mechanicum. But when Horus heresy started is broke to dark mechanicum and mechanicus, latter led by Calleb Decima. And about that librarian thing, well they were not called librarians because of council of Nikea. There was a world called Thawra switch is in war against army of psykers. Malcador the sigilite sees it as a danger to Emperors ultimate plan so all usage of psychic powers all banned and titles for them taken from them.

9551735
All right, fair enough, I did not know about the imperial army and I always thought Commissars were always a thing and I thought mechanicum and mechanicus were just two different names for them.
As for the Librarian, I was misled on that one, I first learned of Istvaan 3 when I downloaded Horus Heresy: Drop Assault, and that game let's you have Librarians, but only for the World Eaters and Emperor's Children, while the Sons of Horus and the Death Guard get beefed up Terminators. But in hindsight, I should've double checked that as this game also called the Istvaan 3 Atrocity the Dropsite Massacre. Oops.

9551983
well like i said very minor nitpicks, After the Horus heresy imperial army was deemed too dangerous as a unified force sou it was separated to imperial navy and astra militarum, then it was deemed necessary that every regiment was given commissar to keep it in order sou they would not become traitors again. You could of course say that that particular regiment had commisars as a tradition from their world as regiments came from different cultures. And what was for that nikea thing, well essentially when massive amount of psykers fight against one another it creates massive storm in the warp switch makes veil between materium and warp very thin. When a rift opened and massive amount of warp energy came thru, three chimera tanks sprouted legs and mouths and thous psykers where heavily mutated. Sou a meeting was made with all primarchs, in the end all psykers within the legion was to never use their powers and was relocated as a tactical marines. There was a example in one of Garros books that when one ultramarines used his psychic powers to save his brothers, he was hated because he did it because he was oath bound to never use them.

Naturally, at first I was thinking of having him forget his name and adopt a more Equestrian name, War Hound, but decided against it.

It is at this point that Twilight received an answer to one her less pressing unanswered questions about the astartes... what was with that strange backpack.

The stabilizer engines automatically rotated to the direction Aries was falling and fired off at full power, righting the space marine, who proceeded to launch a kick at Spitfire who barely dodged.

Wha...what? thous are not some form of thrusters, they are and i quote from the space marine codex "Heat is provided by the power core and thermal build-up can be vented via backpack's distinctive nozzels."
If you mean to help balance then there is lyman's ear switch and i quote " implanted within the inner-ear, this can filter out or enhance specific sounds and provides a superior sense of balance."

9587372
Yeah, see, I saw a YouTube video where a loyalist was fighting a traitor and one of them used those sphere shaped objects as engines and someone made a comment about thinking that they worked like you said, and someone else said that they work as small thrusters because that battery pack throws them off balance (but stresses the difference between this and a jump pack). And finally when I considered writing this, I Googled it....turns out that it's split down the middle with people believing one way or the other and Games Workshop....is Games Workshop. (Did you know their latest book actually confirmed that BS about bolt rounds being the size of soda cans, they just don't care anymore.)

9587671
Never have i ever heard such thing used in combat, at best if you mean that backpack can make small burst of hot air made to move at vacuum of space switch is not anywhere a same thing as used in high gravity. Power armor is made to be connected in black carapace, in where when body part moves, armor moves at same time sou there is no actual weight to be carried. Sou there would be no balance issue. And no book i heard has ever compared bolt round to soda can.

9588018
Not a book, the Bolter rules for the tabletop game. Games Workshop describes them as being the size of a soda can.
I'll find you a link.

However, her smile disappeared when she realized something. "Daaaash, when you rushed over to help me, did you drop my jacket and whistle... through the cloud."

Dash be like shit shit shit

9588072
warhammer community has nothing to do with actual lore. They are only written sou that thous ho have not read anything about 40k:s lore has something to compare. But if there was a book that said that they are size of a soda can, then i would be pissed off. Its like saying that thous small comical comics are cannon in lore.

BURN THE SOLAR HERETICS OF THE SOLAR EMPIRE
FOR THE NEW LUNAR REPUBLIC

"...Why would I be worried about that?" asked Aries.

Indeed why should he be worried?

That was sweet of him to comfort the CMC.

9526594
actually During the Great Crusade when it came to the Xenos it was more of a "Submit or Die", because the Emperor didnt mind working with Xenos as long as he achieved his goal. As for the God-Emperor thing Chaos Daemons would have told him or Khorne Would have.

9626561
Actually, the God Emperor thing was an accident on my part.
As for the xenos, Khorne personally told him "I want these things dead" so that would cause him to believe that they can be useful in his vendetta against the blood god. (The enemy of my enemy dies second)

9626613
i didnt know the God-Emperor thing was an accident.

9626640
Yeah, I didn't really know that he wasn't called that until after the heresy, my bad.

9626927
its alright, and i hope you come with a new chapter soon because this story was really good.

9626989
I try to post weekly, but at the most, it takes two weeks.

9626561
Name one species ho submitted to the imperiums rule. Because i have went thru Horus heresy books and there is not a single one that was not immediately destroyed. Only human colonies were given the alternative. Emperor not once did ally with xenos, not even once.

9631193
Those monkey things (I believe that they are called Jotaro) and even if they're not 'Allies' allies, the imperium has worked with orks, aeldari, drukari, tau, and others in order to best stronger enemies. And Sanctioned Xenos are a thing.

9631354
not during great crusade, and not by the order of the emperor. During great crusade there were multiple xenocides against other species even to some abhumans. Jokaeros are essentially slaves, they do not speak gothic and are only used by inqusition. In a book Pandorax there was one such speciment and local catachans almost shot it upon seeing it. Its a same thing as radical inqusition using demon weapons to fight chaos forces.

9631397
Fair enough, but when the imperium encountered the Laer, there was talk of making them a 'protectorate'. Fulgrim shut it down, but the fact that there's even a name for it does make you think.

9631473
Normal humans can say all ideas they want but a primarch ho follows imperial truth will follow strict orders to conquer the galaxy for mankind. There was a text in prospero burns book where a imperial army officer had problems fighting against eldar. Space wolves responded and slaughtered the eldar from their city. Officer cursed and regretted this and voiced his opinion to Space wolves captain that they were too savage and brutal. Space wolves captain did not care because it was his duty.

9631513
Yes. This is true. But after being betrayed by his primarch and brothers and fighting chaos for 10,000 years, Aries' priorities are less about securing humanity's dominance and more about ensuring their survival.
This is also the justification behind several, if not all, alliances with the xenos race post heresy.
I know Aries doesn't know about those, but he does know that Khorne wants the ponies dead, and the enemy of my enemy dies second.

9631558
That i can understand, for emperors plan was to secure humanity's safety sou that there would not be any big enough threats against humanity. Because during great crusade there was no reason to ally with anyone because crusade was sou powerful that there was nothing that had a change against them. But now during 42 millenium humanity in besiege by all sides, its no longer certain victory.
But thats not the point, Der kaiser says that all xenos are given a change to join imperium even thou this has never happened.

9632366
Ah yeah, I see that.
No, that's not the case. Sanctioned Xenos didn't become a thing until very VERY recently.

I'm liking the training so far. I'm sensing rather short life expectancies for these PDF troopers if and when the Chaos forces arrive, unfortunately.
