Good story, I think I may use this as an inspiration, one of my stories has a human come to the My Little Pony world, and you learn he grew up with an abusive and neglectful family, I might make a short story where he and Gallus talk about their family problems.

OH! I can't believe I didn't think of this BROTP myself!! Spike and Gallus, what an awesome idea for a friendship!! I really wanted to see Gallus develop a strong bond with another guy besides Sandbar, given that Sandbar seems to be Gallus's only important, positive male relationship (
also because I ship Gallus x Sandbar but I think it's too weird to ship it when Sandbar is the only guy friend Gallus has in canon so far). Spike really is such a perfect friend for Gallus!! Hopefully you've predicted the futureBeautiful.
