November 1st, the day smack dab between Nightmare Night and Dia de los Muertos, the second spirit day. For many, it is a day of rest between the two celebrations, and after this years Nightmare Night, they certainly need it. But for some....it is a day of remembering those who could have been, but never were. Today, a mother quietly remembers one such being.

Great job on this one shot. The characterizations, exchange and emotional pay-off are all well done. Admittedly, I can't pretend to know what it's like to have to endure a stillborn , but I CAN understand that it HAS to be extremely painful. And, yeah, Velvet recalling Shining and Twilight's stillborn sibling was a great touch.
I'll definitely be looking forward to more of your work.

I, personally, don't know what's it's like to endure a miscarraige either. Much of the story was influenced by real stories I looked up online.
