Ooh, a dia de los Muertos fic? And I just watched Coco! Leggo

I have to say, once again, great start to your story. I LOVE the work you did on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in the prologue. I especially liked Younger Twilight's scene with her mom and grandmother as well as the scene with the two married deities at the end of the chapter .

And, after you wrap-up this story, maybe you could include a chapter in your "Lore" story concerning Catrina and Mictlan (as well as chapters depicting some of the forbidden spellbooks [such as the one that caused the mess on Halloween/Night Mare Night]).

At any rate, I will most definitely be looking forward to more of this story.

VERY good job on the next chapter of this story. Once more, the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. I particularly liked Twi's describing of both Catrina and Mictlan as well as their roles. And, yeah, I can definitely see the start of the mystery. I have a hunch Twilight can see the spirits because of her new psychic abilities and Spike can see them because of the blast of magic he got from Twilight in the first story, but I WILL admit that hunch COULD be wrong.

I ALSO have a hunch that Applejack's dislike of the Day of the Dead holiday is because it might be a bit too close to when her parents died. But I admit I could be wrong about THAT too.

At any rate, I'll very certainly be eagerly awaiting more of the story.

Thanks very much for getting the next chapter up. And, yeah, it seems my guess as to why Twilight and Spike can see and hear the ghosts is accurate. At any rate, excellent work on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. I particularly liked Luna's explaining - certain details about the Day of the Dead as well as that one spirit guilt-tripping Twilight into helping out .

Unless I miss my guess, Applejack is going to end up getting involved in this in someway whether she initially wants to or not (but NOT because the ghost is Applejack's late mother [since the ghost's name is Ursa Brown and Applejack's mother is named Pear Butter/Buttercup] PLUS AJ and Granny Smith are on MUCH better terms than Ursa described her mom and daughters being). Rather, AJ will provide the perspective of somebody who ALSO lost their mother, but still has a living grandmother. But I WILL admit that my guess COULD be wrong.

At any rate, I will VERY certainly be looking forward to more of this.

Unfortunately, I only have VAGUE ideas where the names came from. My best guess is something related to Ancient Greek mythology involving bears, but I admit I could very easily be wrong.

But, still, very good job on the latest chapter. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up references as Twilight met up with Ursa's family were all very well done. Indeed, this will NOT be an easy fix, but I will most certainly be most definitely looking forward to more of this.

Elinor: Merida's mother from Brave who turns into a black bear.
White Cloud: the meaning of Bai Yun, the first giant panda born in captivity.
Lyanna: from Game of Thrones. The House Mormont one.

It's alright if you don't get them. I had to do a little research to get them too.

Thanks immensely for the corrections.

Again, you did a pretty good job on the info. Well, now we have Cloud's side of the story. And the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are well done in all the right places. I particularly liked the detail of how Ursa originally planned to set up something her daughters would have to work together to find but died before she had a chance to tell them as well as Twilight remembering a detective trick her grandmother taught her.

And, yes, I will most definitely be eagerly looking forward to more of this.

Very little I can say beyond simply great job on the latest chapter. I loved the chat about traditions between Twilight and Elinor as well as the bit of info concerning how they only found PART of the key to the letter as well as Elinor's apparent fear concerning Ursa finding out about something .

Yeah. I'll very certainly be looking forward to more of this once more.

Once more, this is a great chapter. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places.

I particularly liked the bits of added detail concerning Ursa's death and Twilight's point concerning how the death was effecting Ursa's mother and daughters.

And I have to admit, for some extremely odd reason, I can't help thinking that the friend Ursa mentioned preparing for might have been one of Applejack's parents (who could have died themselves either JUST before or VERY shortly after Ursa's death, which would explain AJ's dislike for the Day of the Dead). However, I'll ALSO admit that I COULD just be overthinking it and I am very wrong.

At any rate, I will definitely be looking forward to the next chapter and some more pieces of the mystery uncovered.

Nope! Sorry!

It's just a random stranger who will never appear.

Yeah. Kind of figured I was overthinking it. Thanks for clarifying that, though.

Again, not much I can say beyond great job on this chapter. The exchange, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done in all the right places. I REALLY loved how Lyanna not only believed Twilight when she told the truth, but was actually excited about it as well as Twilight's attempt to demonstrate the Pinkie Promise . Anyway, now we've heard Lyanna's side of the story and they have both halves of the map . Now we're one step closer to solving the mystery.

Of course, I'm definitely going to be looking forward to more of this.

Once again, excellent job on this chapter. I absolutely loved how they found Ursa's final note to her family . The exchanges, characterizations and climax set-up are all well done in all the right places. I was MAJORLY crying myself when I read that note too. Truly heart-warming stuff.

Now I'm going to guess that the next chapter is either going to be the last chapter or the second-to-last (possibly even the third-to-last, but I WILL admit that I COULD be wrong.

However, I WILL definitely be looking forward to more regardless.

Splendid work on the exchanges, characterizations, main story wrap-up and epilogue set-up in all the right places. I loved how Twilight and Elinor talked things out. Indeed, as much as we might want to, we can't ALWAYS protect EVERYBODY we care about (though you CAN take steps to make sure your loved ones aren't forgotten and can ALSO try to help as many people as possible) .

And, unless I miss my guess, the two who caught Twilight's attention at the very end of the chapter were the spirits of Bright Mac and Pear Butter.

Yeah, I am DEFINITELY going to be looking forward to the epilogue.

Splendid job on the epilogue. I particularly liked Twilight and Applejack's chat concerning family and Luna's lending AJ and Twi's family those special glasses .

So, yeah, very good job on the exchanges and characterizations through out. I'll most assuredly be looking forward to more from this universe. :-D

I love your books. I saw things that reminded me of the book of life, coco and an episode of Elena of avalor
