Idk, I feel like they are rushing it. Engaged in high school? That feels very rushed. There's nothing wrong with only dating for a short period of time and then getting engaged, but not in high school. I really can't see these two getting married until after college. They just aren't that type. They seem like the girls who date all through college, wait until they graduate and have steady paying jobs, then get engaged, married, and possibly start a family.
At the end of the day, it's your story and I can't tell you what to do within but their relationship doesn't feel very realistic in the pacing.
