Since you wanted some feedback i'll go ahead and leave a comment. The story is well written and the sex is great but I think the issue is a disconnect between people who like the domination/roleplay fetish and people who like TF (or at least species tf). I like both, but for me transformation is sexy when it describes the actual transformation process and the characters reaction to it. I also like when the character starts to lose themselves into the transformation. Here it seems more like this is just a normal roleplay sex story but the characters are a different species. So for people who don't care for transformation, it's confusing and for people who like transformation (or at least from my perspective at least, people like different aspects of everything) it's lacking. Also character choice perhaps? I'm not as big on shining and cadence personally. But like I said this is well written, I would love to see another story in this vain, one that takes the transformation further and maybe one about the mane 6 or the CMC?

That's really some nice insight. Word count was a bit close, and I honestly have not really any experience with writing transformation, which is why the scene was small. I focused on the requested clop scenes more, like you probably have noticed. It is something I will keep in mind for next time. 
This is definitely one of the weirdest yet hottest clopfics I've read from you so far. I really don't understand why this clopfic isn't doing so well content aside. Besides, there are a lot more "weirder" and out there fetish fics in this site than this.

Now I love all of your fics, well except for your first Fall fic, and typically I'll give everything a read at least once. However honestly I found this to be very... confusing. I mean... they story is of good quality in my opinion but it was just... a very weird idea if you ask me. Honestly I want to give you a thumb-up cause honestly I like all your stuff.
But honestly this story just left me very confused. However I'm not going to give you a downvote just for confusing me. If I did that I'd have give downvotes to a lot of stories. But yeah I might give this story another read-through sometime.

I honestly didn't find it that odd. I was even pretty sure it would go over well, but it seems like elephant anthro and trunk sex is something that is more avoided. I would sort bestiality under things that people think of being a lot odder compared to this fic, but I guess that is just my own personal view which just got proven wrong considering how this went out and that I actually manage to feature bestiality fics. This was also the reason I was convinced this would be featured as well. I think, I will be more careful with my expectations from now on. Though it anyway was an interesting thing to write.

The apology is appreciated. It just doesn't sit well with me if people post things like 'Why?!' and 'What is this?!'. It is not helping an Author in the slightest, considering such things could very well mean someone didn't read the story and simply downvote it. That's at least the impression it leaves on me. Predator/Play can also be about dominance as far as I can tell. And we are talking about a trained guard captain as a zebra against an untrained elephant mare. She pretty much has more weight, but that is all there is to it. Elephants as far as I know have troubles with their weight even if it can be used to fight it can also make them slow and sluggish.
Can you do one with a zebra kidnapping twilight and making her a brood mare.
