Not only that, but for a universe that is completely insane as a concept, with overspecification of consent to the point of hilarity, little to no privacy based on the magic used, where the top ponies are impossibly, unrealistically not corrupt, where an entire society of sex perverts is a super secret organization possibly worth millions on top of millions of dollars that somehow nobody knows about until they're contacted magically at a specific age which they document very creepily, and nobody actually publicly talks about or mentions it because... everyone in the secret society doesn't want to. :V

As much privacy is offered as can be in a land where magic is used abundantly. Fuzzy's point was that, even canonically, magic is used to observe ponies and push boundaries.

The first bit is a matter of opinion, "overspecification to the point of hilarity" is a response to the lack of any apparent consent in many fics, see above for magic privacy comment, it's wonderful to have a fic set in a fictional universe where the top ponies are not corrupt, it's fun to be a part of a long-standing secret organization (and the worth is accumulated over thousands of years... just think of how much Canterlot Castle and the crystal caverns underneath it must be worth!), the documentation is meant to keep ponies safe by keeping records (in a bdsm setting, the line between bdsm and abuse can be crossed far too easily), and no pony publicly talks about it because... it's fun to feel like a part of something special, even if it's popular and many ponies know about it.
And yes, in a land full of magical talking horses. At the end of the day, we're talking about magic talking ponies. Surely not worth arguing so fiercely about, don't you think?

THIS. ALL OF THIS. This was the kind of comfort that Manifest hadn't written just yet, but absolutely existed in such a society. This is possibly my favorite Clocktower spinoff, because it shows the aftercare that is just so reinvigorating. It just touches me in a special place.
