On this epilogue: it does a good job hyping up the sequel.
For my review of this work:
To sum up my feelings in one sentence: I like the story, but it is really, reeeealy flawed. One thing I liked was how the story mirrored the duelist kingdom arc, but deviated just enough to feel a little original. There are a few deviations that get back on how duelist kingdom went which I wasn't keen on, but can let slide. You show a lot of work in showing off each card as if you've built and played each deck yourself. But at the same time with each duel it felt like everyone had exactly the cards they needed to make their play and this led to each duel being less about the skill each player gets with what they can make and more about the sheer power of what cards the players have. The only thing close to a character not having a perfect hand was Burst right before he drew his Deus-ex machina and won with little effort after almost having to go for a more strategic play with whatever he has to work with. Finally, probably my biggest gripe is that characters don't feel fleshed out very well. I'll excuse the Ponies because this site being where this fic is posted is evidence enough that as long as you align them with canon then their characters are already set, but between your OCs: Burst is like many heroes I tend to see, he never loses because he is strong and he is strong because he is good, Sombra feels like a generic villain shoehorned in because the story needed a villain and the tournament needed stakes, and Inferno lives up to his dragon as a guy with potential, but as of this story that potential has not been met really. I would really like a villain who is built up better and given some motivation behind wanting to destroy/rule the world. I suppose the only way to see is to read on.

I can play fodder and use honest when it attacks so it's destroyed by battle, I can banish it's ritual spell card can't be summoned you want a real overpowered card Mr. Panda go find a chaos emperor dragon go look at the dragon rulers archetype (so far the only archetype to have all there cards banned that's how good they were are) and even then they are not unbeatable just very hard to deal with unless you get lucky.
7942888 Yes and when Konami say what victory dragon was doing in tournaments they put the card in the banned list then made a statement saying that it and all other cards that are released in yugioh tournaments (because all the cards like victory dragon are only given to yugioh world tournament finalists hence why they are most expensive cards your going to find unless you use orica) here is another example of this type of card

It's not your fault and you didn't know so I understand that not everyone will know everything I don't know or more likely can't remember every single card made (I had to look up rainbow gravity to see if it was real)

Yeah. I'm working on some Yu-Gi-Oh! stories of my own, and I'll probably be using Lady Brilliant Diamond because I just feel like it suits her better. I play around with a bunch of different decks in my stories, like Scootaloo's Speedroids in my ZEXAL fic.

For leadership skills, I took inspiration from Optimus Prime. In terms of spirit, I used Goku because Burst never gives in. For design, I used Dante from Devil May Cry. He was a pretty good base for making a guy that was essentially Blue-Eyes in human form. As for personality, I used a bit of Kamina from Gurren Lagann. Combine that with a bit of Superman's unwavering sense of good, and you've basically got the ultimate hero.
