Skylarking the Stargazer

Passer inter meos ocellos labebatur... et inebriatus... etiam līberātūrus.

T

Just a random guy, wandering alone on the beach... Not until he is dragged by the color of her skin. Along the same exact trail she has made on the sand.

It's all plain and simple, the man puts all his distresses aside as her yellow shines them away.

It can represent bananas too, but that's okay.

Inspired by the song, Yellow, by British alt rock band Coldplay.

No, no so called "mature audiences" or immature behavior is included.

And with just one word, out of all of the negativity, the self loathing, the misanthropy... with just one word, there is hope for something better.

Just don't go all James Blunt on us if you make a sequel. :raritywink:

7543100 You bet!

But there won't be a sequel to this, it would be a bit all over the place with a human.

Not a bad read, I think it was a pretty decent read, especially with the song Yellow. I understood the story better. For whatever it's worth I don't usually read stories with a human tag because I don't read too many good ones. But if I had to give a conclusion about the story, I would say it was a pretty okay read. If I may add my opinion. I would say it could have been longer for the romance between the two characters.^^

7543474 Thank you for your feedback on my work, but when you mentioned that I should have more description of the characters' romance, did you mean at the end? Because otherwise this whole story was meant to kind of make a build up for the human OC.

7543514 Yes. I feel the end could have been stretched with so more romance. ^^

7543630 Huh, well then what a coincidence.

This story kind of reminds me of A&P by John Updike, only it's a bit more optimistic than that story. All in All, I thought this story was rather sweet, in a way:twilightsmile:.

7547683 Thank you for your compliment.

Never heard of that book before, I should try it out sometime!
