Rainbow Dash has just entered Ponyvile Univeristy! She's totally cyced, especially since she has all of her classes with the new hottie. Her two best friends, PinkiePie and Octavia, have landed a spot in the PVU, but the three share none of the same classes, since they all have different majors. School was a breeze for Rainbow, that is, until she met the hottest pony ever! Dashie finds herself staying up until extremely late times thinking of this pony, by the name of "Soarin." What's even worse, is that they now sit next to each other, in Flight Training, where everypony is being paired up with the pony sitting right next to them...
Soarin, being a true wonder bolt by heart, has just caught a glimpse of the new freshpony, yet he doesn't know his feelings. His friends have quoted to him "She has a nice tail, and butt." And sure, maybe he kinda agrees. But once Ms. Spitfire assigns the new Flight project, he can't help but worry about the emotions he has for this new girl, "Rainbow".
The Flying project leads to an amazing friendship between the two, and possibly something more...

"Thank you, Soarin." Blue Haired Beast told her, his hoof still on her shoulder.
"Eh, it was nice of you I guess." Rainbow Dash told Soarin. "But I can take care of myself."
"I'm sure you can." Soarin responded, "But your a girl, and I find that hard to believe."
Rainbow Dash's tempature started to rise. She hated it when stallions didn't appreciate all the work that mares do!
"Gender doesn't prove anything!" Rainbow Dash shot at him.
"Oh, it doesn't?"
"No, it doesn't!"
"Well, talk to society.
"Why would I talk to somepony invisible?"
