When she awakens in a dark, dystopian Equestria where ponies live in fear of their oppressors, however, she begins assaulting herself with questions. How did she get here? Why was she here? And, most importantly, can she get home in one piece?

5198905 I try to avoid cliches if at all possible. Besides, Applejack has never seemed like the "leader" type to me anyway. It makes much more sense in my mind to have someone like Shining Armor, who has actual military experience, take the lead.
