I was never quite concerned with the grammar, since I relied on an Editor to take care of THAT.
(and, I know the editor is good. as He or She is the one person on "Plan 9" who was nice enough to help me with this.)
As stated before, I will be taking things 'slow' with the story.
give readers a chance to get to know my OC, while also enjoying the story as what it is: a good MLP story.
Much like the IDW comic book series, focus will shift between different characters.
with content alternating between Drama, Romance and Comedy.
It's got a little something for everyone.
I don't pretend to know how long this story will be.
but, based on what I have planned out..it may be up to 30 chapters or more.
there will also be a prequel focusing on "The Fausticorn" and Celestia's "foalhood"
and, a Spike Centric sequel that will be a crossover with The Legend of Spryo.

Well, like the show itself, I intend to write in songs at certain situations in order to make it authentic.
and, in all likelihood, the songs I will use will be either Disney or any of those Non-Disney Films that are equally good (EX: Don Bluth)
While SOME songs are hard to find, quite a few just fit as perfectly as Cinderella's Glass Slipper.
'Phony King of England' is one of those songs. Altered lyrics aside, it almost seems the song was written JUST for him.
(the only other Disney Material that can parallel Prince Blueblood in my opinion is "Prince Adam", the human incarnation of The Beast from Beauty and the Beast.)
Despite some reservations in how I had Alex deliver the song, I rather like it as it is. and, Don't regret writing it in.

Most are probably from the Plan 9 Group.
They gave me so much grief over grammar, spelling and layout, I've unpublished HALF of my stories here.
But, it's good to know that I have SOME supporters on this site, and not just on DeviantART.
where the majority like to compare me to J.K. Rowling, or J. R. R. Tolkien in terms of Storytelling.
(and, I'm not patting myself on the back here. My watchers there really DO consider my fanfics to be masterpieces..even when I don't think they are.)

Well, I'm American myself (and, I have a best friend on DeviantART whose in England.)
So, you have my sentiment on the USA and the UK.
I also like the Australian accent ("G'day, Mate.") part of that may be my exposure to Steve Irwin.
You don't have to be afraid to submit a story.
Yes, the site moderators MAY reject the first chapter if they feel the layout is off.
BUT, they will also tell you what you did wrong, and how you should fix it.
In the end, LAYOUT is all that needs done (grammar and spelling is something else.)
Take a look at my story again. Examine how the first chapter is written.
try to replicate that, and THEN post your story.

based on earlier criticism of my first drafts, while he is the focus character..this isn't all about him.
I want to show that Alex is a nice guy, and is very likable by the other characters (and, by an extent; Likable for the readers, too.)
That way, it will mean that much when things take a turn for the worst for Alex later in the story.
