Oh, unexpected, this part of the internet had me laughing so hard....
Amusing.
Originally I'd written this for the EQD Writer's training grounds prompt so I stopped when I hit the limit of 1.5k words. I wasn't too happy with the way that turned out so I removed the cop-out ending and added additional chapters to bring this story to a better conclusion.
I originally found this because I also wanted to combine the peaches and bat-pony ideas, but it appears someone beat me to the punch. Oh well. I can only assume that the majority of the dislikes are due to the previous cop-out ending, because I thought this was pretty entertaining. I liked all the meta humor, as well as the odd narration. The best thing, of course, was the callback to the asteroid-shedding move she learned from the stars. That was brilliant.

It started back when Obselescence made this site post. At the end of it, he listed fictional examples using the story "Twilight Sparkle Eats Peaches." Well, shortly after that blog post was made, Twilight Eats a Peach was published and hit the feature box. Obselescence himself joined in with Twilight Sparkle Eats Peaches and two stories about Twilight and peaches popped up there. After that, a large number of active authors wrote peach stories within the next week or two. This basically flooded the site with them.
What in tarnation?
