Twixie's final lesson

Later that night...

Twilight and Trixie were sitting down in the living room on the floor, with Twilight reading a book and Trixie playing with her ursa minor teddy bear.

Twilight looked down her side to see Trixie playing with the bear and giggling she smiled it was good to be together this way simple and clean, although there was one thing Twilight couldn't understand why Trixie wanted the alicorn amulet so bad in the first place, she knew Trixie told her back at Zecora's but now since she thought about it when she remembered Trixie up in the net looking at her with so much hat it felt like....false rage to her.

"Trixie." she called.

Trixie looked from her toy at Twilight. "What is it, Twiwight, it's not bed time yet, is it?" Trixie said knowing it was only eight.

Twilight shook her head. "No Trixie, I wanted to ask, why did you really tried to steal the alicorn amulet?" she asked.

Trixie shifted her gaze. "Uhh, I alweady told you I was out for wevenge." she replied, Twilight raised a brow.

"I don't think you're telling the truth, Trixie." Twilight said suspiciously. "I think there's a different reason you came back so don't lie to me young lady."

Trixie lowered her head. "Otay I'll tell the twuth," she sighed then looked at Twilight and said. "I was jeawous."

Twilight was surprised. "Jealous of what?" she asked.

"Of you," Trixie replied. "I was jeawous of how much bettew you awe at magic than I am, befowe I even came back to Ponyville my traveling show was doing weww, again I was making business and it was good and all but the fact that there was somepony bettew than Twixie made her jealous and I had to do something." she bowed her head again. "My pwide got in the way of my judgment and I came back," tears were now rolling down her face and she cried. "pwease Twiwght don't hate me!"

Twilight then picked Trixie up putting her over her shoulder and patting her while cooing. "Aww, it's okay Trixie I'm not mad and you don't have to be jealous." she comforted.

Trixie stopped crying and looked up at Twilight with moist eyes. "I don't, you'we not mad?" she said cutely.

Twilight smiled. "No, in fact I think you're a great and powerful magician, you just need a little teaching," she said then got an idea. "in fact I'll teach you."

Trixie could feel her joy rising. "Weally, you can teach me to be a bettew mage?!" she said excitedly.

Twilight nodded. "Uh huh, I'm the best kinda friend you'll ever have and as your friend it's my pleasure to help you." she said then felt Trixie hug her neck and she returned the embrace.

Trixie felt so happy but then thought of something. "Wait, you said 'the best kinda fwiend' what kinda fwiend is that?" she asked.

Twilight smiled. "The best friend of all; a Mother." she said and hugged Trixie a bit tighter.

Trixie was surprised at first but then sighed and hugged a bit tighter, she was happy to be were she is now, she has a new mother and Spike and she was going to learn more magic and Twilight forgives her for what she's done, for what better lesson in friendship then forgiveness.

Twilight looked up at the clock and noticed it was now nine o'clock, "Alright Trixie, it's time for bed for you." she said then getting up she carried Trixie on her back upstairs, she then got Trixie's fleece pajamas and put them on her and put her in her crib with her ursa minor teddy and started the mobile.

Trixie hugged her teddy bear and slowly fell asleep listening to the mobile music she couldn't think of anything that could make her life better.

The next day Twilight and Trixie went to Sugarcube Corner again and everyone was there Applejack, Rarity and Pinkie the only one's missing though were Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash.

"Hey do any ya'll know were Flutters and Dash are?" Applejack asked everypony shrugged then they all looked to see Fluttershy coming up to them.

"Oh hello darling, we were just talking about you were have you been." Rarity asked.

"Hey girls." Fluttershy said.

Trixie from her stroller was listening to the group talk and gasp but she wasn't really listening that closely she was waiting for Rainbow Dash to come in and tease her again, then suddenly Twilight came and picked her out of the stroller, she carried her over to the group and Twilight told her to say hi to somepony, she looked to see who and what she saw surprised and intrigued her.

In a foal carrier was a tiny foal with a rainbow mane and sky blue coat, it was Rainbow Dash, in Trixie's mind she was screaming one thing: 'POETIC JUSTICE!!'

that was a fine fic, good super. that moment between twilight and and trixie was very touching.

and the tie-in to Her Little Rainbow was very well done, being from trixie's pov. i couldn't help agreeing with trixie, thinking of how rainbow treated her before.

i look forward now to reading Little Dusty
