Interesting start, as it seems that Moondancer isn't a favorite amongst her peers. :fluttershyouch:

Now we will see Moondancer's POV. Please, continue on your marvelous work.:moustache:

I give you one message Moondancer, if you truly wish for the pure and the virtuous. Then think of Equestria's ideals. Forgiveness and kindness can be as powerful as any blade. If you let your people never recall this truth, then Grogar was the victor after all.

"As you wish, Moondancer." The white equine with black stripes nodded.

AHHHHH! But I LOVE HER ACCENT!!!

false lies."

There are true lies?

I thought the Dream Valley ponies hated Celestia's guts.

"The most insulting thing is what she said about my people!"

I guess the ones that hurt the most are the ones that hit home.

"Wail, y'all betteah do somethin!" Truly warned grimly. "Twailight ahnd Tohnado have already pulled Embah out of classes ta homeschool her cause ah sun!"

WHOA! Then she might have some ponies actually listening to Moondancer if she says this teacher is bad news. She should carry a white flag and talk to the couple.

She seemed so nice when we hired her!"

Told ya what you wanted to hear huh? Played back all your beliefs back at you so you'd think her a great person?

"Miss Sundance told us all humans are bad!"

0-0

I wonder what her goal is. Okay. Maybe she really is a conspiracy nut who got her hooves on finally having an audience who'd take everything she says is true for once. Or she's something that's ALSO dangerous. (A conspiracy theorist with lots of power is VERY dangerous. Look at what happened to Germany.)

"Old Equestria forever!"

THAT IS NOT OLD EQUESTRIA!!!!!!

Worried about the girl in front of her, Moondancer decided she'd deal with those kids later.

Nasty choice to make considering her own flesh and blood just hurt the person who saved her from being an unholy beast.

"I said GET AWAY FROM ME!"

That was the sound of Moondancer's heart breaking in two. Guess that proved she had one after all. Maybe she and Wind Whistler should form a support group.

And why do I sense a sickly Wounded Gazelle Gambit on Sun Shimmer's part next chapter. If she was a good enough actor to manipulate Moon Dancer, she could use that talent again. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/WoundedGazelleGambit

Something tells me that Sun Shimmer might actually be Sunset Shimmer.

Also, HOW DARE SHE SAY SUCH INSULTING LIES ABOUT PRINCESS CELESTIA?!?!?!:flutterrage::flutterrage::flutterrage:

2821012

If the mirror didn't just pass through reality but time as well, it's possible.

This will not end well for Sun Shimer. :ajsleepy:

Also, I wonder....if Zigzag is here in modern day Ponyland, then I wonder if he heard of Zecora in old Equestrian history ?:ajsmug:

Pleae do keep up the good work upon such a great tale like this one.

2821012

Well, there was a recent Journal entry about the Equestrian Girls thing. So maybe it's related in some way. :twilightsheepish:

This teacher besmirches the name Equestria, something is rotten in Dream Valley

Shout outs, shout outs everywhere.:pinkiecrazy:

"As you wish, Lady Moondancer. I shall endeavor to carry out your orders without delay." Sunset Shimmer bowed, a sinister smile crossing her face as the moralistic mare left the classroom, and out of earshot.

You might need to fix that name.

Overall, more please.:duck:

Also, Moondancer, you are stupid at times.:facehoof:

I have to say that sometimes there has to be some LIMITS to Moondancer's ways. :fluttercry:

I get the feeling that Moondancer tried to shut down the revisionist teacher did NOT reach the ears of anypony.

What AJ said to Moondancer, like I said, I'm honestly surprised it didn't kill her where she stood.

And I doubt the council will realize their punishment is going to be completely numbed anyway from what's happened to Moondancer already. She's already lost her child (the first thing she sees of her after returning home is seeing her act like a monster. Then she won't see her again for who knows how long, and who knows if her child will even EXIST by the time they're done with her. De-brainwashing is just RE-brainwashing of the ideas the people doing the 'de-brainwashing' think the filly should have!!!!' Not to mention what her husband will think of her when/if he returns, to find out THIS happened to their child under her 'watch.'

I say again, their lesson in humility is wasted on a mare who just had her closest friends turn on her and her child acting like a creature and then taken away from her with her even being able to say anything, like it didn't even concern her.

I wonder if Sunset will realize that it would take just a few gentle nudges at the right moment to drive Moondancer to suicide right now (I am NOT joking).
Though she might need to keep Moondancer around as a scapegoat for now.

"The human who saved your life hates you. Your friends hate you. Your dearest of friends said you were less destructive to Dream Vally as a beast of evil. Your daughter as she was before is lost to you no matter what the future brings. Your husband will hate you when he finds out. If he ever comes home alive. That would be nice, then he wouldn't have to see this, isn't that right? . . . You thought you fought for decency and integrity, that it didn't matter if others saw you as the villain as long as you fought against the black tide of 'Me! Me! Me!' . . . You have nothing. You are nothing. The only fate that awaits you now is that of a broken dog, to be looked down upon until it learns to barks as its masters expect it to bark. Accept the salvation of the noose. Accept the salvation of the pills. Accept the salvation of the castle balcony. Accept the salvation of the razor and the full bath tube . . . you have nothing, you are nothing. Accept the black abyss of despair. Death awaits you deep below in its trench, its kiss shall grant you freedom. Suffering, pain, and humiliation is all that awaits you. Accept death's gift little pony."

2846982
If you looked at one of fire hooves recent journals you would know that he explained that Sun Shimmer is NOT Sunset Shimmer! He said that Sunset came back about fifty years ago and something that happened on the other side of the mirror made her gentle but also made her so that she mostly groomed herself took care of a small garden in Hoofkiado. She did have a stallion care taker that married her so Sun Shimmer may be her daughter or granddaughter.

2847849 :facehoof: I know that. That's why I said it needs to be fixed. I coloured it red to show him that he made a mistake.

That mare is one nasty piece of work, but Baby Moondancer seems to be a little too brainwashed for it to have been a natural process. Then again the youth are impressionable.

Something is really wrong here, no mare can change minds this quickly, at least with normal means.

So is this new teacher related to someone from the past or what ? :twilightoops:

everything will make sense soon, don't worry. no, moondancer isn't falling uder the influence read carefully between the lines with Moondancer and megan's converstaion, and you'll figure out what's going on. :trixieshiftright:

Looks like we have an Apple of Discord on the loose.:twilightangry2:

How did Gypsy DO all that?!

And you think a Zebra would be on guard from that sort of magic tricks.

And mind control? That's a neat clean easy answer: but tyrants and monsters throughout history have turned perfectly rational and compassionate folks into monsters with nothing more than some well placed words and something for them to project all their negative emotions on.

I wonder what the ponies are doing right now to each other.

And I wonder what the revisionist's end game is.

Wow, Gipsy is spooky.:rainbowderp: Though I think it's justified as a defence. It's a dangerous world out there.

Finally taking interest in FiMFiction, finally contributing FiMFiction and realizing why I never took interest in FiMFiction.

However, I know I can always count on your stuff being entertaining. What commie pervert notions is this teacher putting into the minds of Dream Valley. Whatever it is, the resident teabagger will put a stop to it.

Hatred, fear, and stupidity? No wonder Moondancer like this Sun Shimmer at first. Shimmer's more right-wing than she is. Karma's a bitch, isn't it, Moondancer?

Ah. So Shimmer is a libertarian and Moondancer is a tori.

And boy is the council as harsh as ever.

I have to admit I'm a little disappointed it turned out to be mind control. However, it makes the resolution cleaner.

Wow. That is very cruel of her, treating her daughter as a weapon against her feudal enemy.:twilightangry2:

The sins of the mother are carried on by her child.

Sunset Shimmer, you failed to learn the values of friendship and forced your daughter to become an instrument of vengeance.

You sadden me.

Time to end this.

Pipsqueak? I think they just sailed into the pony equivalent of the Bermuda Triangle.

"I'll reincarnate as many times I need to, I'll come back from the dead as many times as I need to, but I won't rest, I can't rest, until all my mistakes are healed, and my ponies can live in harmony not only with themselves, but with the entire world, and violence, doesn't have to be the answer." --Angel Pony

Sun Shimmer has lost it...Twilight and Megan need to hang for just a bit longer.

Trollestia and Molestia bash, the originality is just overwhelming.:facehoof:

The truth will set you free.

That is all.

Devolved, Sun Shimmer? Or is it possible you're just such a slipshod magician you never learned to how cast your spell on more than one gender. Still, she has Dream Valley in quite the choke hold.

Applejack gets to be immortal (though such an existence sucks), Cheerilee gets to Xerox herself, yet poor Pip is dust.

I can't wait to see how things are going on the homefront.

3274420

We can hope at least he's with Princess Luna now.

3274904>>3274943

Is he? Strange Ikki didn't disinigrate, too. :rainbowhuh:

Poor Pip :ajsleepy:

Magic like that...it's...unpredictable.

3276034 I figured since Ikki was born on the island, its magicks was part of him. Are you suggesting Dream Valley will be adding another living relic to its population?

3278708

Oh. So it'll just take LONGER to kill him? :-( That feels just mean.

3276241

Another victim of this twisted trope. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NoOntologicalInertia Applied whenever anything remotely magical is in play.

It still await when someone casts a fireball spell, and casting a dispell magic causes the tree to reverse from being ashes.

3279493 Admittedly, I'm using the No Ontological Inertia in my own story as well, so I can't really complain. It's really for the convenience of the author.

An immortal character becoming mortal and instantly aging to dust is popular in fiction. I think Star Trek's Requiem for Methuselah is one of the few cases where an immortal character becoming mortal result in them just starting to age again normally.

3281234

Ironically the expanded universe, which I'll admit is an absolute self-contradicting mess, had Flint FAKE him losing his immortality and simply moving on.
