Spike, Derpy Hooves, and Discord are the oddballs of the ponies in Equestria; Spike is a baby dragon, Discord is the draconequus god of chaos, now reformed, and Derpy Hooves is the only pony who has problems with her eyes,but is still able to live her life as normal as she can, so why cant they be reveled? Why are they treated like outcasts? They soon see what's going on and decide to show everypony that they are not to be messed with. And they arent alone as they soon find help from some very dedicated allies.

Awesome first chapter. Makes me feel for Spike even more and how he is treated. Twilight "Princess of Neglect", because she neglects Spike's feelings all the time, fanfiction wise. Well, at least he has a friend in Derpy and maybe Discord if Discord behaves himself.

Both of you are right. In my opinion, Spike is seen as a third wheel; usually on purpose. Ponies see him as a minor threat/help, so they completely ignore his feelings in the things he is asked to do. In my story, I put the story five years ahead of where season 3 left off. It took him five years to build up the anger and thoughts he is expressing in my story. We all learned what constant hate can do (i.e Luna/Nightmare Moon). His feelings are what going to fuel my story, which I hope everypony has enjoyed so far. I have big plans for the story, and I plan to have the next chapter out by tomorrow afternoon at latest. The way I imagine Spike's mind is that the confliction of emotions he is feeling makes it easy for him to fight as the conflict within him fuels the conflict he is now in.

I am a huge Spike fan, and although his intentions were probably good, they were only to satisfy his needs. I just hope the outcome will be good for both sides. I think what Spike needs is a real good flood of tears to be allowed, and if Twilight and everypony else sees him crying hard, then they will feel his pain
