[Optimalverse] Mark was having a rather bad day before he emigrated to Equestria but the promised digital heaven never materialised. Instead he found himself in an deserted Canterlot with just two other freshly minted ponies for company and nothing but mysteries to solve. What happened to everypony else? What's wrong with CelestAI? And how will they survive each other for all eternity?

Princess Luna, Ruler of the night, is furious. For centuries since Celestia and her had taken the land from Discord they have ruled over Equestria bringing it both the night and the day. But Luna has been rejected by those she rules over. They shun the night she works so hard on, and ignore her as a ruler. It is time she reminded them the importance of her night.

Oh, sure, there was the occasional creature and monster that her daughters and their student and her five friends would have to deal with. Usually the student and her five friends saving her daughters. But this wasn't enough to keep Faust not bored.

So, for some entertainment, she decides to bring in some otherworldly help...

Just a long cycle of tests and experiments. Now, they need him for an important test. Teleportation. For better or worse, he ends up a bit farther than expected, like a lot farther. Before I became a fan of the show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I didn't much care for it , or it's fandom, but there was one reason I got into it. It was the day Princess Celestia somehow came to my home!

She was hurt, and drained of her magic so I helped her out, and showed her that well...she was part of a show!

We became friends rather quickly during those weeks and soon, when she left when she was able, she would come to visit, and even though I had a spare room for her, she always asked...well I'm sure you can guess!

Adam Rice is a world renowned food critic who has made a living by traveling all over Equestria, seeking out the finest places to eat, while attempting to compete in some of the worlds greatest eating challenges as he documents his entire journey on flim for the world to see.
He's battled the Angry Joenut in Canterlot, conquered the Pancake Tower in Baltimare, and now his journey has brought him to Ponyville, home of obsessive fan girl Bon-Bon, a zap apple muffin obsessed Derpy, and The Pinkie Promise Challenge. A seven pound cupcake that only one pony has ever been able to finish in one sitting.

Most of the details have been long lost to time. Almost nothing is known of the Changelings now and most don't honestly care. It's only the select few ponies who have taken the time to learn the history, dig for the relics, and piece together the past who know that there are truths, frightening truths, yet to be found.

A poor choice was made one faithful summer day. A young man finds what many would call a miracle of science, a portal, a gateway, a bloody wormhole. No matter what you call it, the fact was that a young man found it.

"A hand wouldn't hurt." The dumbfounded man said. "Just one hand, then I'll leave."

Like a fool he reached out and touched the cursed thing. And much like a fly to a trap, there was no hope for escape. The portal warped and stretched the second the young man dare touch it. And with a final startled scream the young man forever vanished from whence he came.

I am that foolish young man, I am the one who dare mess with forces far to large for me to comprehend, and I am the one who was forever sealed from going back to whence I came. With nothing more than a bag to my name, I walked forward with no way back.

My name is Status Quo, and here I stand.

She had known her Mother before she had transformed into Nightmare Moon, and now, she would see her again.
