Shining Armor always wanted Flurry to become a strong and great royal guard just like him. She always had powerful magic since her birth, and that's why it came as a surprise when she instead chose painting as her career. He was reluctant, but Cadance managed to convince him.

Flurry had spent her whole life going against her parents wishes, she didn't want to be like them. She wanted to be herself. And at least in this school, she could express herself however she wanted.

But of course, things can't be that easy, can they?

I know it's mostly a shitposting contest, but I wanted to write Shining. And I think this turned out well, although if I had a higher word limit, I would've written more and fleshed it out just a tiny bit more. Still, I hope you'll read this and enjoy it.

Hearth's Warming Eve, a holiday rarely ever celebrated in the Wasteland for numerous reasons. After all the events that changed the livelihood of many of the people living in the Wasteland, the Wasteland entered a state of relief for many of the heroes. Thus, began the first time that this holiday would be celebrated. Scootaloo and Apple Bloom get into an argument involving parents, more specifically the difference between Scootaloo's family situation and Apple Bloom's. Eventually, Scootaloo makes a hurtful remark that causes Apple Bloom to break off their friendship for the time being.

Racked with guilt for what she said, Scootaloo tries to find a way to make things right and win back Apple Bloom's friendship. But how can she when she doesn't know what it's like to grow up never truly getting to know your parents?

After some consulting and advice with her aunts, Scootaloo comes up with a solution. Meanwhile, Apple Bloom tries to come to terms with a guilt she thought she'd successfully buried.

A changeling infiltrator has failed a mission and has been punished in a way no changeling has ever been punished before: Having his own emotions fed upon by Queen Chrysalis. Changed by the experience, he plots a way to change his life and atone for his past mistakes.

I thought this up recently as I was working on my other story Fitting In Is Hard To Do and decided to work on this whenever I had writer's block working on that.

Edit - I removed Thorax as a character as he's only mentioned in the story. He will be in the sequel when I get around to writing it.

This is an unofficial side story to KnightMysterio's "Discord's New Business" Series.

Discord's New Business was great! The CMC decided to use it to become adults for the day, aiming to taking in all the wonders of Manhatten and finish it off with a show!

Yet as the day wears on, they began to find a lot of their expectations falling short. The biggest being their first trip to a night club.

Stage Light on the other hand is just a poor earth pony musician dragged there by his sister for a night out.

The CMC had expectations set high. Stage Light had practically none at all.

Two separate ponies meeting for a brief moment, then part ways for what would have normally been forever.

It's in those brief moments, that destinies can interweave, and pave the way to something...
