Orange Sherbet has received an invite to attend the annual Apple family reunion, being hosted in Ponyville this year.
She would love nothing more than to see all her relatives again, but uncertainty grips her heart. The last time she ever attended the Apple Clan's gathering was when she was still a filly on a farm. Much has changed for her since then, she fell in love with an Orange, moved away from her sister and mother, and hasn't even seen a live apple tree aside from the one in the Neigh York Botanical Gardens in over 20 years. She doesn't even have her old name anymore. Can the business savvy city socialite find a way to fit in with her dirt loving farm raised cousins?

Octavia never ceases to be impressed by her marefriend Vinyl, a dhampony who has too much time on her hoofs as it is thanks to her extended lifespan.
One thing Vinyl chose to spend her extended time on is her bottle cap collection, among other things.

There isn't enough mundane slice of life OctaScratch with dhampony/vampony Vinyl so I will provide.

Rarity prides herself on her work, and when letters start pouring in from Canterlot after the Royal Wedding she is overjoyed by the enthusiasm for her dresses. Drawing on her friend Fancy Pants, she is able to set up a temporary shop in Canterlot for one month, where she will do her best to turn out as many dresses and outfits as she possibly can.

She swears to Twilight and her friends that she won't fall for the allure of the big city again, and that Ponyville won't have to go long without her... but once there, she is quickly swept up in the grandeur and glamour of post-Wedding Canterlot. Her clients are rich, prestigious and famous, with clout and influence to burn...

...but it is one mare, a simple gray earth pony, who catches her attention. She doesn't behave like the rest- she is quiet, yet when she speaks she is witty and clever, not dull and droll like the others. She dodges Rarity's questions about her artfully, which only piques the white unicorn's interest and nigh-on forces her to dig deeper into the community to find out about this mysterious mare named Octavia.

But what does she hope to find? Why is she so driven to find out more about the gray earth pony musician... and what will she do with the information she gleans?

This is my life now. It's a good life, too: Free food, free schooling and a roof over my head. A future laid out for me. I have everything I need to make the most of this. But then she shows up and makes me question whether I want to or not. She is infuriating, annoying, outlandish, boorish, exquisite.

She reminds me of what I've lost.
She reminds me of home.

Octavia’s been left wanting. The life of an artist in a classical ensemble has reached monotony. Thankfully, there’s somepony in her life that helped her find a change of scenery. He's not a pony, though, and he's her roommate.

Hopefully he finally notices her. It's been a while since she's been home.

There are a lot of ups and downs to being a musician. This is the story of how two musicians, one on top of the world, but still missing something. And the other at the bottom, not knowing what to do. find what there both looking for in a small bar in Manhattan.

Octavia, Vinyl, and Lyra are trying to put together a Hearth’s Warming Eve carol for all of Ponyville. Unfortunately, they get themselves into a musical disagreement, and end up turning on each other, each one thinking their style is superior to the others. Not even the town is free from the chaos, as they get in on the argument, and end up feeling upset themselves

Will Hearth's Warming Eve go on without a single carol, or will the three Ponyville musicians find it within themselves to compromise?
