Sometimes the best stories come from the most unlikeliest of encounters.

In 'Rich in Flowers, Unlucky in Love', one of the flower girls struggles with her growing feelings for a customer, suffering as she watches him stumble into romantic disaster after disaster.

In 'Perspective', Pony Joe shares with one of his customers a tried-and-tested method for resolving a Code Sparkle(otherwise known as a pre-test meltdown).

In 'Late to Class', Lemon Hearts is quite excited to be filling in for an injured professor... until an unexpected student appears in her roster.

And in 'Historical Inaccuracy' Sunny and Zipp go on a scavenger hunt through history to answer a pressing question: is it even possible for one of Sunny's ancient heroes to have had an extramarital affair?

These four stories were written as part of the Quills and Sofas 'May Pairings' contest, where prompts were given matching ponies that didn't have much of a chance to interact onscreen. It was quite fun and challenging. Pre-reading help provided by the Quills and Sofas participants, as well as horsetorian and Celestilune.

I’ve got a problem, namely, a massive hangover. Well, that and I’ve discovered that my clothes don’t fit anymore. Mostly because I’ve shrunk a few inches overnight. And grown wings. And a tail. And scales.

Okay, so maybe a hangover isn’t the biggest of my problems.

If only I could find someone to help me sort out how I got myself into this mess, I might have an idea of what horrible things I must have done while I was smashed. Except that there’s no one around, and my whole neighbourhood looks abandoned.

However, my ute still runs, I’ve still got some spare tins of food, and there’s loads of extra booze to help me pass the time. Now if only I could figure out why my voice sounds so high….

This story is a sequel to Mobster Meets Equestria

Three years...I have been living in the beautiful land that is Equestria for three years now. I was made an official citizen and even turned into an equine to better enjoy my time here. When I first got here, I was scared, confused, and worst of all, I was friendless. That all changed when a town full of ponies looked past the less than ethical things I have done and taught me what friendship is all about.

Does that sound familiar? Well let me jog your memory if you can't quite put the pieces together. This is Vincenzo Scungilli and once again, I'm needed to right some wrongs and fix what is broken. A crazy turn of events lands me and some good friends of mine in a place that I once called home. It has changed a lot since I left and not in a good way. Equestria is full of friendship, love, peace and kindness whereas New York has animosity, hatred, violence and corruption. I am now and will forever be an Equestrian but I can't return while the city I once loved is being rotted to its core.

This can go one of two ways. It will either be a nice pleasant walk down memory lane or a huge mess in desperate need of a good cleaning. Whatever the case may be, I'll be needing all the help I can get. This is a concrete jungle that's nearly lost all hope and I won't be going home until that hope is brought back! Shouldn't be too much of a chore, right? I mean I've only got Animal Control, a long lost kin and the entire NYPD standing in my way. Wish me luck. I'll need it!
