Zipp is a complicated mare. You don't swallow years of political and social stimulus, coupled with rules and tradition without picking up a bit of emotional complexity. Hating your mother, loving your mother; carrying a quick wit, still simultaneously being a bundle of anxiety, the works.

She's ~so so with all of it. At least in theory, she knows how to talk, but there's just this one certain set of words that she can't find the right time, phrase, or place to say.

Luckily for her, some-princess planned ahead.

One apparently normal day, Dr Eggman tries to steal the Chaos Emeralds from the Crystal Brighthouse, but his attempt fails so badly that he ends up sending the Emeralds to the human world counterpart of Equestria. Now, Sonic sets himself on a mission: to find the Emeralds and bring them back to Equestria before they fall in the wrong hands. But as he travels on this new human world, he also ends up meeting some faces that look very familiar... but are pretty different at the same time.

It's Sunny Starscout's first time hosting a sleepover for her best friends, but she has a "wee" little problem that she'd rather keep a secret. When she's caught out, it seems like it might be the end of the world. Fortunately, Zipp Storm is the big-sister type, and offers to help take care of everything.

Before moving to Ponyville, Twilight Sparkle's life was anything but eventful... her usual days chocked full of meticulous planning and rigorous studying.

That was until three years ago, when the ever faithful pupil of Princess Celestia teamed up with five other unique mares to stop the tyrannical Nightmare Moon from bringing about everlasting night. She and her newfound friends had many adventures in the years that ensued, learning all about the magic of friendship: its ups, downs... but most importantly, how it could grow into so much more.

Life is seemingly perfect for the group of six friends, and yet for Twilight... why does everything feel so wrong...? After glimpsing potential memories of herself and her friend Rainbow Dash—that otherwise shouldn't exist—she begins to question whether the life she's known is a lie. Some of her friends start acting strangely whenever she tries to question them, while others downplay her concern or outright deny it. What's more, unfamiliar, yet warm feelings begin emerging for her pegasus friend... painting her longtime friend in a whole new light.

Despite it all, after the Friendship Map pairs both herself and Rainbow Dash up to solve yet another friendship problem, Twilight tries her best to focus on the task at hand. So what if her memories aren't what she thought they were, or... or if Rainbow doesn't reciprocate her feelings? Solving another pony's friendship troubles should come before one's own needs as Princess of Friendship.

Only... why is there another pony who reminds her so much of herself? Not to mention a "negative" her, with a grudge against all of alicornkind and a plot to unify all worlds under her control? And how exactly is Starlight Glimmer involved in all of this? Just what in the world did she forget!?

What was supposed to be a simple friendship problem soon turns into a fight for the fate of all realities. Faces old and new, strange and familiar join Rainbow and Twilight in their struggle to reclaim their lost past, and overcome insurmountable threats in a battle for their very future.

In a parallel version of Equestria where ponies coexist happily with each other, and with their elven brethren, the world was once protected and guided by The Paladins of Harmony. But after they dispersed, the world fell into ruin. The three pony types—Earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi—and the three elf types—earth elves, mages, and fairies—now only live with their own kind.

Sunny Starscout is an earth pony living in the seaside town of Maretime Bay, alongside her adopted brother Keith Kogan. They grew up with stories about the Paladins of Harmony and Sunny still believes there is hope for this divided world.

One day, a lost unicorn named Izzy Moonbow and her mage friend, Katie Holt, wander into Maretime Bay. The town's residents react in panic, believing that Izzy and Mage are hostile invaders. Sunny and Keith, finally given an opportunity to make friends with a unicorn and mage, shelters Katie and Izzy in their home, and the two reveal that unicorns and mages no longer have magic powers following their sudden disappearance.

Together, with their childhood friends, Hunk Garret and Hitch Trailblazer, and the Pegasi princesses, Pipp Petals and Zipp Storm, along with their fairy friends, Lance and Allura, they embark on an adventure and travel across Equestria on a mission to restore magic to the land.

This story is a sequel to Sonic Enters A New Generation

3 Months after stopping Sprout, something weird is going on with the crystal bright house’s Magic, and no one knows what’s going on. But Sonic and Zipp both start noticing and try to figure it out.

But when preparing for Maretime Bay day some Earth Ponies are not to happy with magic’s return, along with the big blue Hedgehog rolling around at the speed of sound.

Hopefully today goes great… right?

Nightmare Night.

It's one of Equestria's oldest traditions. Or, it was before the pony tribes became divided hundreds of years ago.

Months after Sunny and her friends helped the pony tribes of western Equestria see the light about pony unity, the time of year approaches when Nightmare Night used to be held. Sunny sees an opportunity to revive the ancient tradition.

But how does an Earth Pony do something like that without scaring the bejeebers out of everypony?

With a musical, of course!
