A new legend is born
In a parallel version of Equestria where ponies coexist happily with each other, and with their elven brethren, the world was once protected and guided by The Paladins of Harmony. But after they dispersed, the world fell into ruin. The three pony types—Earth ponies, unicorns and pegasi—and the three elf types—earth elves, mages, and fairies—now only live with their own kind.
Earth ponies and earth elves reside at the bay.
Unicorns and mages in the forests.
And pegasi and fairies in the high mountaintops.
Sunny Starscout is an earth pony living in the seaside town of Maretime Bay, alongside her adopted brother Keith Kogan. They grew up with stories about the Paladins of Harmony and Sunny still believes there is hope for this divided world.
One day, a lost unicorn named Izzy Moonbow and her mage friend, Katie Holt, wander into Maretime Bay. The town's residents react in panic, believing that Izzy and Mage are hostile invaders. Sunny and Keith, finally given an opportunity to make friends with a unicorn and mage, shelters Katie and Izzy in their home, and the two reveal that unicorns and mages no longer have magic powers following their sudden disappearance.
Together, with their childhood friends, Hunk Garret and Hitch Trailblazer, and the Pegasi princesses, Pipp Petals and Zipp Storm, along with their fairy friends, Lance and Allura, they embark on an adventure and travel across Equestria on a mission to restore magic to the land.

Alright, nice prologue you did there, and I'm looking forward for this story as well, including the movie itself on Friday, and you know after seeing the trailers so many times, I keep questioning on how the magic of friendship is replaced with fear. And to give you the heads up, I came up with a theory, I think the new mane 5 must be the descendants of the mane 6. Because Sunny acts like Twilight, Izzy acts like Pinkie Pie, Hitch acts like both Applejack and Fluttershy together, Pipp acts like Rarity, and Zipp acts like Rainbow Dash. But it is just a theory but tell me what you think and nice job on the first chapter for a prologue of your story.
If the movie is out, hope you could use it for your story.

Awesome start you did on this story, you did a good job on this beginning and not to mention on how Sunny and Hitch have hidden feelings for each other that was great and not to mention that how Sunny and the one called Keith have became friends, great job, looks like Sunny has a new friend and someone to look after her. Great job with the first chapter, granted I haven’t seen the movie yet, but from how you speak of it, it must be good. Also, if you plan to include the songs from the movie, and maybe others from our favorite movies and/or Tv series, or fan based songs, might I recommend this one for like when Keith and Allura have a dance with one another:

I'm not the one to vent out on a character as much as I should but...I can see a lot of Karen in Phyllis right now and no wonder she's influencing her behavior on Sprout. It makes kinda sense, and I did love the movie a lot due to it being cutely hilarious and parodying our real-world stuff to Equestria.
Okay that was a sibling argument there, but they work things through and make sure they are always be their for one another, and now Izzy and her rider showed up, and man things gone down hill, and now Keith will follow sunny’s path and join her on wanting to make friends, and man sprout and Hunk are morons, in the movie I never did like sprout because how he treated sunny and the other ponies, being afraid, thinking everything is all about him and not to mention he thinks the mane 6 are myths and fakes and treats them like garbage, but awesome job to this chapter, keep up the great work

Okay that is great and man is hitch and hunk are going on a mission to track down an elf, mage, unicorn and earth pony fugitives back to maretime bay, not to mention a little tease to hitch about sunny being his girlfriend, (which I keep shipping as well), and that was a little rude to call Hunk those names, that’s just who he is, and man did Spout and James have a chat and man did Sprout’s mom give sprout a chance, but even James sees sprout as a poor excuse, and this is getting interesting in every chapter, keep up the great work.

XD I totally saw what you did here, that was perfect in honors of Hunchback of Notre Dame. One of Disney’s best, but dark classics. I’m not kidding, and I’m sure you knew this too, but the film may have been made more for adults than children. Especially when it came to revealing the corrupt power in the church, and when it came to songs such as Hellfire, that song had everything. It was dark, it was gritty, it made Frollo in that movie an interesting villain, especially with Tony Jay voicing him.
Amazing work here, can’t wait for the next chapter.
