Despair is Anthropomorphic Personification of...well, despair. He holds a secret so powerful and deadly that it could mean the end of everything and it's about to be revealed...

This story is a sequel to The Forgotten Prophecy

The Elements of Chaos have been awoken, and have consumed Twilight with their dark magic. With them, a massive army of shadow ponies has been awoken, and Twilight takes command of them. With this army, she plans to conquer all of Equestria. Will anypony be able to stop this fighting force, or will Equestria fall to the hands of the corrupted Twilight?

Doesn't become a tragedy or romance until later on in the story.

Discord is the God, the entity, the all around bringer of Chaos! But apparently, even Gods have higher ups, and his isn't too happy with his recent inactivity. This being intends to do something about that.. Might get changed to a mature rating down the line somewhere. Heh heh.

Rainbow dash loses her memory in an accident and wakes up with no memory of her past self but brief sounds and sensations, she is thrown into the world with only her old 'friends' and new fears and old responsibilities, she must find out what happened to her and, why there is this mysterious pony following her.

Sunset Shimmer was once the former Student of Celestia. Like Twilight Sparkle she was very powerful in the fields of magic. Unlike twilight Sparkle Sunset Shimmer was dishonest and cold hearted. She abandoned her studies expecting Celestia to feel pain and to feel like she had failed. Years later Sunset reappeared in Equestria to steal the Element of magic. This element would later lead to her fall. Sunset turned into something upon wearing such powerful magic. She was defeated by the magic of friendship and left with deep emotional scars. One of these scars is burned into her soul. The dark magic that consumed her in the human world was more than just a form. It was something much worse, something that will soon come to the surface to show its face again.

(Note this is a remake of the first book of my series of the Empress of flame to honor a year. In this you will receive a new ending and all scenes and chapters I decided to not release. All chapters have been changed in many ways. This one will be much longer than the original. Empress of flame was an alternate universe I made that became more popular than I expected. I hope you all enjoy year one edition, I will be packing it with more detail and it will in the end be a different story so to speak.also note its a year for the idea since the original was posted once before and failed so i remade it bla bla bla enjoy)
