When they arrived at the library Twilight tucked the unconcious pegasus into bed. Then Twilight pulled a book off of the shelf randomly. She looked at it it was the book with the flight spell from awhile back. She figured if she was going to sleep soon anyways she might as well try it to see what flying was like, Rarity had said that it had been amazing, well she had said that her wings were amazing.
So after flipping to page twenty eight she found the flight spell. She began to concentrate pouring all of her energy into her horn making sure not to mess it up, when suddenly Spike and the cutie mark crusaders barged through the front door. She lost her concentration on what the wings were supposed to be made of while running through her head, but the spell was already half done! And how long were the wings supposed to last? She couldnt remember and she lost control of the spell.
Magenta lightning flashed around the room striking bookshelves and almost hit the cmc. What the lightning did hit however was the sleeping pegasus, she jolted awake and her eyes flashed white. A blue bolt flashed back from the prismatic pony and the two entertwined lengthening, spreading andpulsating as unicorn magic and pegasus magic mixed(pegasus magic being cloud walking and less mass).
Eventually the beam bagan to lessen in power and eventually it dissapated between the two. Both passed out.

When Dash finally woke up she said "What the heck happened, my head hurts and i just had the wierdest dream."
She reached up to rub the top of her head but was stopped by something about four inches away from her head. It was hard to the touch and a bit 'sensitive' to the touch. She quickly pulled her hoof away from the protrusion. A blush was beginning to form on her face when she saw, the purple pony laying next to her, in bed.
She squealed abit and jumped out of the bed, running itno the next room and barreling into a small purple dragon. The dragon tumbled down the stairs and was about to hit the bottom when a bright magenta glow caught him at the last second. Then pathetically fizzled out. Allowing the dragon to faceplant into the last step and then slide down it.
"You know Dash you really should be more caref..." she didn't finish the sentence for when the cyan pony turned she saw a horn. A Horn on Rainbow's head.
Spike tore his face off of the floor and looked up the stairs to see twilights hair begin to curl and her pupils shrink to pinpricks. "Um D-dash you might wanna back away, like now!"
The prismatic pony was backing up, when she felt herself run into a wall, Twilight turned to look at spike. And then she noticed it and snapped back to reality. Both she and her blue friend had both a horn and a set of wings.
But then the author decided that he didn't want this story to go in that direction and erased twilights horn and dashies wings.
Then a pink mare appeared behind the author and said "try not to go crazy with breaking the fourth wall okay? Thats my job, now finish this chapter!"
"Yes ma'am said the author hurriedly finishing up the chapter and forgetting grammar errors.
Pinkie waved and said goodbye go ahead wave back she can see you.

And then Rainbow dash woke up.
