While teaching modern, formal dining etiquette to the newly-returned Princess Luna, she comes to realize that her feelings of inadequacy are not as singular as they always seemed.

After finding her old friend Lemon Hearts at her front door Twilight finds out that she broke up her boyfriend earlier that evening.

"Hello Phumblr, my name is Graceful Thread, I am... well... a spidermare. My friend Lemon Hearts said I should try to socialize more, but since most ponies don't like it when I walk outside my home in broad daylight, I thought I might try social media. After all everypony else is doing it."

"Don't worry, there is no such thing as stupid questions. Wrong questions, yes. Questions that might result in me wrapping you in my webs and injecting you with my venom, yes. Stupid questions, nah!"

Think of this as kind of like one of those Ask Tumblr pages, except Graceful Threads will answer them in intervals (as it would be silly to have a chapter for each question).

There is nothing wrong with being goofy, but please do try to submit some serious questions too. It should be noted that I would like to keep this story as safe for work (SFW) as possible, and I am sure that Graceful Threads would agree.

It was supposed to be a simple get-together. Moondancer, Lyra, Minuette, Twinkleshine, and Lemon Hearts were going to meet their old friend Twilight at a local bookstore and then go out for dinner. But somepony had the bright idea of hitting up a bar beforehand.

And then the bookstore turned out to be one of those seedy establishments peddling magic books that suck unsuspecting readers into the narrative. Oops.

Now these five mares are stuck in a maze, one built from the plots of dozens of different books. Fortunately, as graduates of Celestia’s School for Gifted Unicorns, they’re ideally suited to escape this literary labyrinth... Or they would be, if they were a little more sober.

This is yet another exquisite corpse, so don't expect this to make too much sense. At least this time, we didn't write something that's completely impenetrable if you haven't read all our prior fanfics. Instead, we wrote something that's completely impenetrable if you haven't read a bunch of literary classics! We're moving up in the world.

Lemon Hearts is an Equestrian matchmaker. That's sort of like a doctor for ponies with a very specific and persistent disease. And like most doctors, she hasn't picked the soft option.

Of course, she's got the backstage pass to love: the black, unsavoury-looking one that lets her access all floors, including its classy penthouse apartment. And its rotten underbelly.

Mad couples, unhealthy habits, lots of cider, and a princess who's a little too perfect... You gotta laugh, because you're not allowed to cry...
