Rainbow "Danger Professionalism Crash" Dash is starting to get used to her new life in the Wonderbolts; embarrassing callsign and all. But as the days go by, one thing seems to bother her. And that thing is one of her new teammates, Surprise. Or as the team sometimes likes to call her, Slowpoke.

But you wouldn't know that just be looking at her. In her time cleaning the barracks, Rainbow Dash would never think of Surprise as a slowpoke. If anything, she's insane, quirky, and actually a more subdued version of a certain pink pony from back home. So what gives? Why is Surprise called Slowpoke? For Rainbow Dash, the truth is certainly going to be, surprising.

My mini-epilogue to the episode Newbie Dash.

One night, an amazing display lit up the sky over Ponyville. A comet, brighter than any in living memory, was making its way through the sea of stars. The residents of the town gathered en masse to witness the spectacle. As was the tradition for such an occasion, many ponies made a wish on the celestial body, hoping that maybe, just maybe, some of them might come true...

Field Player is a traveling performer who specializes in audiovisual illusion. After a show in one of the friendliest towns he's been to, he decides to sample a little local flavor. One mare was especially dazzled by the show. Wooing her should be easy enough, right?

After an unknown accident Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash awake to find themselves sharing the same body! Now they must struggle to hold themselves together as their world is turned upside down. Several days after having a terrible nightmare, Scootaloo takes her final exam at the Cloudsdale Flight Academy, and with the help of Rainbow Dash gains insight into the nature of her own character as well as knowledge of the deepest secrets of the Rainbow Factory.

Rarity and Twilight were hardly the only ponies who noticed Applejack's increasingly inefficient methods. They were just the first ones who got her to listen. Getting them into the position to do so took more than a little finesse on the parts of some unsung heroes.

After an argument with Rainbow Dash about the romance plot in the latest Daring Do issue, Twilight Sparkle constructs a machine that allows two ponies to enter a novel, in order to learn more about Rainbow's obsession with pairing Daring Do with her bookish sidekick Rosetta.

Soon, the two find themselves in a Daring Do adventure, with Rainbow taking the name part and Twilight playing Rosetta. As they deal with ancient jungle ruins, mythical artifacts and old adversaries, Twilight is starting to see the appeal of the pairing.

But after all, it is all just fiction, and what happens in a novel has little to do with the real world, right?

The AppleDash project is a series of short fics attached to various episodes, detailing a relationship between Rainbow Dash and Applejack behind the scenes. The stories take place sometime during or shortly after the indicated episode.

This is not meant to start shipping wars, argue that AppleDash is canon, or offend other shippers. In fact, if you like the idea I encourage you to try it with other ships!

Teen rating means that there may be talking about sex, and there is one line of dialogue that takes place during intimate relations, but it's warned for and skippable. Nothing sexual is described.

Something is definitively up around here. Applejack and Fluttershy have been spending a lot of time together without the rest of the gang. Well, Rainbow Dash is on to them! In fact, she is sure this is the no-good friend-stealing Applejack's doing, and she will not stand for this - whatever this is.
