On the one year anniversary of Luna's banishment, Celestia has an honest and open talk with her sister about what went wrong, how it happened, and what she's going to do to fix it.
And hopefully Luna can hear, because Celestia's question will reveal just how much she loves her sister.
Upon her return to Equestria one thousand years after her banishment, Princess Luna struggles with her weakened body. Clumsy and left without magic, she searches for the key to returning to her true form. But is that really what she wants?

Realizing that she's been out of touch for too long amongst her subjects, Luna decides to take a vacation to explore her country (much to her sister's chagrin) and decides to place Fluttershy in her stead. It's up to the meek yellow mare to help rule with Celestia for the next few months. All she needs to do is swallow her own latent fear of the night and do a good job...
Queen Chrysalis sends the princesses a letter stating that she deserves a thank you after the Canterlot invasion.

Luna is a strange mare. Cadance is only now just starting to see how strange she is when Luna mentions the unthinkable. Maybe she'll learn something new in the process.
