This story is a sequel to The Twilight Enigma

With the queen of Twilight Town present, the Storm King's invasion of Canterlot goes badly for his commander and minions. Not satisfied with a mere victory, Captain Blackmane and her friends go on the hunt. Twilight is determined to find the Storm King and make sure he will never be able to harm anyone ever again. It's obviously a mission of reasonable prevention, not murderous revenge. Obviously... Right?

The day had finally come.

Tempest was ready to return to her village, or so she seemed to be; but deep down she was frightened, afraid of the faces that would recognize her, uncertain if anypony she knew had remained, all the while sharing a similar pain with Starlight Glimmer. And now, only meters away from turning over a new leaf, Tempest falters, and leaves Starlight to help her find her courage to move forward.

Literally wrote this in three hours. I'm pretty proud of it to be honest.

Sunset Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, and their friend group are newly equipped with magical super powers, and have certainly proven themselves when it comes to magic threats. But something is rotten in Canterlot City, and criminals have now attracted their attention. Now, the girls must find a way to use their abilities to protect people from a threat far closer to home. Of course, such a task is not without risks...

Tempest Shadow arrives in Canterlot at the behest of Rarity. The fashionista's letter was vague, but spoke of a matter of great importance that she needed help with. Braving the snow-covered mountains, Tempest arrives ready to help out.

However, Tempest learns that Rarity needs help not with an old enemy or runaway creature, but the upcoming Hearth's Warming Fashion Show. And it just so happens she needs a model for her latest line...

Following the events of the Storm King's invasion of Canterlot, peace returns to Equestria. Apologetic and disheartened from their failed offense, all of the shattered king's servants and soldiers collect themselves, pack their things up and return to their homeland from whence they came.

All except one.

The unicorn mare, who formerly called herself commander of the Storm King's army, decides to stay with the people she had once abandoned so very long ago. And with this decision, she finds not only forgiveness, friendship and long-lost belonging, but something more. And that something lays in someone who not only showed her all these things, but forever changed her life for the better.

However, just as the dust begins to settle, it seems as though a tremendous, if subtle problem starts to loom over Canterlot no sooner than had it averted disaster...

When Flash Sentry takes a break in one of the nap rooms, Tempest Shadow (Fizzlepop Berrytwist) discovers a how much the pegasus truly care about her.

Note: In this story, Flash Sentry is Captain of the Crystal Empire's Guards, succeeding Shining Armor, and Tempest Shadow (or Fizzlepop Berrytwist, as I've decided to use her real name in this story) is his right-hoof mare.

Fizzlepop Berrytwist, Ember and Pharynx had all been used to using their strength and combat prowess to solve all of their problems, and have begun meeting up with each other on regular occasions to share their experiences. But with the influence of their friends and loved ones, they begin to reflect on what true inner strength really is, how they have influenced each other and what it is that they're really fighting for.

Princess Twilight's Friendship School proposal has been denied even preliminary approval by the EEA. Fortunately Tempest Shadow and her fleet of warships are back in town, and Tempest has a somewhat unorthodox idea for how Twilight can get around this. Plus, we find out more about how each of the Young Six came to be enrolled at the School. And Starlight ends up with a much better job...

AU reboot of the start of season 8, and sequel to Reformation... It's a Pony Thing.

Tempest Shadow had been surprised when Princess Twilight had offered her friendship. She had been even more surprised when Twilight stood up for her in her trial, helping her gain legal absolution from her past.

Now, she is trying to start with a clean slate, turning to the familiar military structure of Equestria's Night Guard. Upon arriving at the New Lunar Republic for her training, however, she finds that legal forgiveness does not mean Equestria has forgotten her past. Now, winning one instructor's good word is all that stands between her and moving forward with her life.

But why oh WHY did Princess Twilight have to send her to a pony so STUBBORN?

That's how some would describe what those two did. Maybe they're not wrong. But, we were just foals, and after everything I've done since then, how can I possibly consider myself any better?

These thoughts have plagued Fizzlepop Berrytwist, a.k.a Tempest Shadow, ever since the Storm King invasion was thwarted several months ago. Unable to run from her demons any longer, Tempest returns to the place where it all began in the hopes of reconnecting with all those she left behind.
