In a world where 12 nations rule all and worship the stars, there is a darker secret between the 12 leaders of the horoscope nations. Each sector has their own rules and styles and way of life. You will only ever be allowed to have a romantic interest in other signs who are compatible with you. Everyone else is forbidden. Everyone in their sector is different, but yet is pressured to act the same. The leaders must show no desire to be in any relationship, compatible or not, to be able to properly make the best decisions without complicated emotions getting in the way. So what will happen when two leaders fall in love? How will they be able to hold that secret, as well as the many others that the leaders are hiding from the subjects?

If you are sensitive to profanity or suicide/ self-harm, please DO NOT read this story! I won't go into too much detail about how this will work, but I do not want anyone to feel worse anxiety or depression if you have either of these illnesses. I suffer from these myself, but this will suffice as an outlet for me, so please, don't worry. Thank you for your cooperation.

Also, keep in mind that everybody has different points of view on their sign and the others. I'm going off of my own view of what I've seen on my own, and all the other different signs. Nothing offensive will be said about the other signs, but more of just the general stereotypes of what each sign is will be used. Thank you, again, for your cooperation.

This story is a sequel to Night at the Spring Dance Hall

After many months of paperwork, divvying up property, and finding an available court date - the third of which taking more than half of the timeframe, the inevitable has arrived. For the third time, I am appearing before a judge to terminate a marriage certificate. One would think that I’d get used to it since this is my third, but alas. It doesn’t get any easier.

Worse still, my family are now discovering the story of my accident. While it occurred a long time ago, it’s clear that despite their denial of my existence, they can no longer keep that up. As a result, I now have to resort to some pretty extreme tactics to avoid being seen by them. While I don’t doubt that at least some of them are willing to talk to me, I can’t take any chances. As far as I’m concerned, I have a bounty on my head.

Rated T for abrasiveness.

Inspired by my poetry and Enough Reasons To Die

NOTE: This is a rewrite of my old story, Enough Reasons To Die. I figured I would add more to the story cause why not, and it feels therapeutic in some way. This is on hiatus because I add to the story not very frequently so just read it if ya want.
Ratted teen for self-harm, suicidal thoughts/actions, and detail of blood. Also another note, most of the chapters are fairly short.

Script Singer is tired of life. So she has a chat with her demon as she reminds herself she has enough reasons to die.

❇️ Howdy, to everyone coming here since 2024. We started to write this fic in 2013, inspired by the concepts of immortality and using that to explore societal structures.

One of the biggest things to Us was the fact that (FiM season 3+ spoiler) We imagined Twilight as an alicorn who takes over for Celestia. Not long after starting this project, that happened in the show, and it blew out Our will to continue this.

We might someday return to this, especially now that it's been over 11 years. Our creativity is coming back and We're emotionally in the right space to pick this up.

As of 2024-06-17, however, everything about this story and the description below is untouched from how it was back when We were first writing this.. Consider this an archive of how it was, until and unless We decide to start writing again.

Chapter 1 ("Alicorns") remains the only completed chapter. The entire rest of the story is unfinished, so only Chapter 1 is published here. You may act as a prereader for the rest of the story by viewing the Google Drive link below, but do know that only what's published here is considered "done".

[TO PREREADERS: The full story outline and meta information, as well as other notes, are available on Google Drive]

This is not a story for the weak-minded, nor the impatient, nor those whom expect a single theme or mood. This is not a story of right and wrong, nor of victory and tragedy, though it does have these. This is not a story of a single pony, nor is it a story of many.

This is a story passed down through only two generations, spanning uncountable lifetimes. This story is about a concept which is much too vast to ever comprehend, and is fully known in the hearts of every Equestrian.

This is the story of the love of an alicorn.
