After the disastrous events of the Grand Galloping Gala, Octavia decides to relax in the Castle Gardens. Using her music to relax, she is discovered by the mysterious Princess Luna, who still fears public opinion. Over the coming months they find comfort in one another's gentle presence, and Octavia finally finds the inspiration she needs to fulfill her oldest, most ambitious of dreams.

Royal Guard Silver Birch knows Princess Luna's history, and her... extreme reactions to being neglected in the past. When it seems Luna has been snubbed yet again, he and his partner Winter Garden take action to shield their Princess from this slight, and spare Equestria her terrible wrath.

Turquoise "T" Blitz, the son of Rarity and Spike, and Anthea "Annie", Fluttershy's adopted daughter, have been friends for a long time. Now, they're getting married, but Nidra, the Princess of Slumber, has had a crush on T for quite awhile as well, and she's not taking this lying down. Instead, she forces everypony else to take it lying down by casting a powerful sleep spell right before the couple takes their vows. Her mother is forced to intervene, but can Princess Luna teach her daughter what love is really about?

The young alicorn Celestia leads and ponies follow, fleeing south from their frozen lands.

Luna is not respected, not mighty like her sister. She can only watch Celestia slowly crumble from ceaseless labor, and the caravan rot with animosity and fear.

She needs to help, yet no one will listen.

She needs power.

A snapshot of the millennial lives of a young Celestia and Luna, as they prepare to do battle with Discord and fight to keep the Harmony they have only so recently mastered, and learn lessons they will struggle with all their days. In a journey that has no end, what matters most is who walks beside you.

For a thousand years, Princess Luna was erased from the history books. During that time, many things had changed, but none have affected Luna more so than the change in language. Even after many months of passing time, she wonders about language and words as she struggles to gain a better understanding of how to communicate with her fellow ponies.

When a diplomatic mission to the griffons goes wrong, it falls to the Royal Guard to extract the ambassador and warn Princess Celestia about the upcoming surprise attack. Unfortunately there is only enough time to accomplish one of their tasks.
