Sunburst was the official crystaler. It was his job to help care for the young princess, and he had grown used to and even enjoyed the task. It was a pity, if one asked Flurry Heart, that he lacked a little trait that'd make him the best foalsitter.

Starlight is trapped in a nightmare where she must play the role of Alice as she travels through Wonderland. Her adventure becomes a mystery as she tries to figure out who is behind it all, and how to stop it. Sunburst tries to help her through the story, but it seems that he does not belong there and whoever is in control is trying to push him away from Starlight. Unable to use their magic, and with all of their friends acting strange, the two must face the world of Wonderland... and keep from losing their heads.

Only a few months ago, Starlight finally rekindled her friendship with Sunburst, and despite promising to stay in touch, the planned letters never surfaced, by either. To this end, Twilight has brought Starlight back to the Crystal Empire, for little other reason than to make the two of them get closer - much closer - for a few days. But after learning from Sunburst of a new artifact discovered in the Empire that he is currently studying, Starlight is presented with a choice: with the power to rewrite the past entirely with little consequence, should one do it?

Manipulating the past can have drastic consequences, even if all intentions were for others' good...

Feeling Stygian has not been truly represented by his books, Sunburst offers to aid in translating his revised autobiography — a task that just might liberate Stygian from an oppressive past and show him a kind future is possible.

However, the rewards of acceptance can only come at the risk of being known.

As an average student at Canterlot Academy, Shining Armor usually spends daily life worrying about O&O campaigns, guard training, and ignoring the incessant gossiping of his more popular friends.

But with the gossiping turning to the new transfer student, a dropout from Celestia's own Magic Academy, Shining finds himself more interested than he's willing to admit in the new arrival. Especially when it feels like all of his friends look to be to be pushing him towards this seemingly dark and stoic new arrival.

Sunburst suddenly came to the human world and asked Sunset to come home, but Sunset refused. So how did Sunburst persuade his sister to come home?

Adults were weird. That’s Flurry’s conclusion after three years of watching her Uncle Sunburst and Auntie Starlight stutter and blush around each other. It’s obvious that they liked each other, and Auntie Applejack always said that you should be honest. So why can’t those two be honest about their feelings? Well, Flurry’s sick of it. She’s gonna have to do something about Sunburst and Starlight’s little situation. Her mommy would be proud.
