Throughout the undying rule and lifespan of an alicorn, the lives and deaths of innumerable ponies would flutter by like waves crashing in an endless ocean, a price Twilight and Cadance could see behind the smiles and love their mentors always carried. A price they themselves knew they would face when invited to sit by them on the throne, to shape and operate the kingdom for millennia to come.

A price they never bothered to embrace till one night, when the elder princesses would invite them to pay witness to the last breath of life Equestria would ever know to a fragment of its fertile soil, no matter how tiny or insignificant it may appear.

J Bruce Ismay was a very quiet man even before the Titanic. Now over 20 years after the disaster, he finds himself about to join others within the afterlife, until he is somehow whisked away to Equestria for the sake of his own personal redemption.

Armed with a small lake boat, a fishing rod, a case of clothes, and decades worth of business experience, Ismay sets off into a brand new world unsure of what to expect.

(This is not related to my current Titanic story "On a Sea of Glass... And Ponies, this is a separate story, in tribute to the most wrongly ridiculed man of the 20th century.)

This story is a sequel to The night of the outcasts

It's been some time after the conversation Spike and Apple Bloom's conversation, and they decide to go on a date not minding the attention they would have from everypony around them. Their date goes well until they get interrupted by some ponies that they weren't expecting, Apple Bloom running towards her new house crying afterwards. Let's hope the dragon can cheer her up...

This is a sequel to 'the night of the outcasts', you don't need to read it, but I recommend that you give it a try, that way the events here will make more sense.
RATED TEEN JUST FOR SOME DARK PARTS IN THE SECOND ENDING, EVERYTHING ELSE IS PRETTY MUCH FOR EVERYONE (or at least I'd like to think so).
Still need to work on my grammar and orthography.
Tagged AU for obvious reasons.
Spike has wings in this story, even if he doesn't use them.
In case you want to read the prequel, here's a link to it. If it doesn't work, I'll figure out a way to let you read it.
