This is officially a Dishonored/My Little Pony crossover.

Princess Celestia, Luna, Cadance, and Twilight Sparkle are all rulers of Equestria. Rulers of a country that is often considered the most luxurious of the bunch. Before the plague, it was a thriving nation bent on creating, perfecting, and enduring the meaning of harmony. And attaining the mantle as the wealthiest nation in the world.

Yes, Equestria was something that even made many other wealthy countries cringe. That was all before the advancement of the plague from a not so great Continent; Europoniea. From there, that was the real end of the golden era for Equestria.

Suddenly you were filled with endless cries of agony, riots in Manehatten, lawless cities like Seaddle, and once rich towns like Dodge Junction. Bodies of ponies started to mount up, and ponies from all over started to shun the princesses.

Like as Celestia says, later becoming famous for quoting publicly; "Blame the rats, blame those putrid rats."

Authors note: I have officially written a crossover, don't be mad that this is based off a really successful game with a brilliant story.

When a Tyranid hive-feet descends upon the world of Equestria, Terra sends in the Ordo Xenos, and the Ordo Xenos send in the Imperial Guard. Among the regiments are the legendary Tanith First-and-Only, led by Colonel Commisar Ibram Gaunt. It quickly becomes apparent that theirs is a suicide mission. For the sake of not spoiling the Gaunt's Ghosts series, all characters are treated as alive at the outset of this fic. Given Abnett's talent for killing off beloved characters, this has forced me to limit how many of the ghosts I include; as such, I apologize if a favorite of yours isn't present.

The changelings, years after the invasion of Canterlot, struck at Equestria once more, this time with a highly industrialised army - panzers crashed through Equestrian troops, technologically inferior, taking Acornage in very few days, pushing to Vanhoover and even as far as Tall Tale.

Celestia erupted in fury.

The Solar Empire drove the changelings back, led by Empress Daybreaker, and within a year the changelings lands were Equestrian territory. Not all ponies accepted the new tyranny of Daybreaker, who considered herself a Goddess and the ponies her 'children' of sorts, especially the thestrals, whom had earlier enjoyed much better rights only to have those rights rescinded and finding themselves targeted.

Major General Sharpened Sword was one such figure, an earth pony stallion and hero of the war. It's up to him to rescue Equestria - can he help the resistance, lead a revolt, and rescue Celestia from the grips of her alter-ego, or will he stumble, failing to manage the high-exposure of being a hero and the favour of Daybreaker combined with his own beliefs in harmony and the old Equestria?

Twilight Sparkle was almost ready to take her place with Celestia as a princess of Equestria, but everything went wrong; the spell she used ended up blinding her. Never again will she see out of those eyes, once a beautiful violet; now dull, grey, and lifeless. How will Twilight adapt to her new life and deal with her new disability?

A few years after Luna's return it seems that Equestria will finally know an era of peace and appears to be on the verge of a new renaissance. Ponies are blithely happy, as they are often.

Luna is recovering, and happier than she's been a long, long time.

Celestia is miserable. She's faced with unexpected changes, like always. It never really mattered until she was faced with something (or rather somepony) she wasn't sure if she could cope with, and everything that came with him.

Now, it feels like she is watching the world fall apart. Her world.

Starry Nights thought she was a relatively normal pegasus. Sure she was dating a batpony, had an obsession with the night sky, and had been suffering from recurring nightmares since she was a foal, but besides all of that she was a completely normal pegasus. That was until she was sent by the magazine she wrote for to cover the 1000th Summer Sun Celebration, then her life was flipped upside down.

With Nightmare Moon's return, Starry is now trapped in the middle of a civil war between Nightmare's forces versus what remains of the Solar Guard. She is now forced to confront her destiny set in motion a millennia ago, and discover who she truly is. But she is not without help as Twilight Sparkle, Shining Armor, a mysterious spirit, and others assist on her journey to activate the Elements of Harmony, and defeat Nightmare Moon.
