This story is a sequel to Too Late

Believing an interdimensional relationship could only go so far, the human Flash Sentry reluctantly turned down Princess Twilight Sparkle's offer to go on a date. However, after an initial heartbreak period, Twilight decided to ask out Flash's pony counterpart. Without the difficulties of an interdimensional relationship to scare him off, surely this Flash would jump at the chance to hook up with Twilight, right?

Well, let's just say Princess Cadance had sunk the ship a few months prior. The Princess of Friendship did not take learning this well.

This may or may not end with a funeral.

Enough is explained in this story to not require reading "Too Late" to understand what's going on. This story does mention only the most relevant parts of "Too Late", so it is recommended to check out "Too Late" if you want to learn more about what happened when, and immediately after, Twilight tried to ask out the human Flash Sentry.

A mysterious force of magic has blanketed itself over the land of Equestria. The peaceful day is suddenly plunged into a state of disarray. With something strange going on in the Crystal Empire; Princess Twilight Sparkle, her friend Starlight Glimmer, and number one faithful assistant Spike prepare themselves for the horror they are about to face as they push the boundaries of magic and comradeship.

The friends are forced to investigate the dangers and form a plan to tackle the great enemy while looking after their daily duties. With help from many of the friends Twilight made throughout her life as a student of magic and Princess of Friendship; this is a tale of strength and hope against one of the darkest adversaries Equestria has ever faced.

Author note 2: I started writing this tale Post-season 8 Ep.13 and is adapted to the cannon of Season 8 Ep. 26.
As I'm sure will become obvious to you, I cannot adapt most of this tale to a state post-season 9. I will do my best to match it though, I have a few ideas. So for the moment please, sit back and take yourself back to a pre-season 9 Equestria.

Flash Sentry always loved Digimon. The video games, anime and the card game were things he absolutely loved. And one day, he gets the chance to play a hardcore version that makes the game and Digimon feel real. As such, he jumps at the chance to dive in.

Being transported to the world of Codex, he soon discovers that Digimon and the Digital World are more real then he could possibly imagine. How will his digital adventure play out? Only time will tell.

The Jedi Knights are the greatest peacekeepers in the galaxy. They protect the innocent and stand up to injustice wherever they find it.

Join Flash Sentry, as he joins the Jedi Temple and attempts to prove himself worthy of the title of Jedi. There he's make new friends, face many challenges and come across enemies too numerous to count.

And in a dark corner of the galaxy, evil is beginning to stir.

Subtle Strike was one of the most timid pony you'll every meet. Always in the background. So when he joined the army, he thought that he was going to be safe. Nothing ever happens, and if anything did, the elements would take care of it. So, you can imagine how happy he was when we was sent to the middle of nowhere, The Crystal Empire. But King Sombra came back. No one knew how, but he was back, and once again, he is trying to take over the Crystal Empire. Much more inclined to a peaceful resolution, Subtle Strike, with his best friend, Flash Sentry, go for peace talks. You could say it was successful.
