Readers do not have to read Just Some Flowers to understand everything in the story. However, watching the MLP Movie will help understand my story's scenario.

The Friendship Festival was supposed to be a time of enjoyment and happiness. However, thanks to Tempest Shadow, all of that was burned to ashes and the ponies attending the event were taken as prisoners by the Storm Creatures.

Caramel experience as a slave to a Storm Creature named Groak involved taking a few heavy punches from time to time. But none of that pain compared to the arrival of Princess Twilight Sparkle as Tempest's prisoner. And how he chose to take on the miserable task of escorting the mare he cared so dearly for to her doom.

Sugar Spoon helps ponies work through their heartbreak (for a reasonable fee). After receiving a request from Carrot Top she tries to get to the bottom of what has gone wrong with her relationship.

Not solving this heartbreak means the end of one of Ponyville's longest relationships and Sugar Spoon not getting her rent money.

It's Hearts and Hooves Day, and Big Macintosh has been forced into a rather fancy getup that... truth be told doesn't fit him in the slightest. While waiting for his lover, Caramel, to come to the bar they're having dinner at, he runs into Troy and Canvas, Ponyville's seemingly most popular couple. They have a small talk regarding Mac's feelings on just how genuine the holiday feels, and more importantly how it doesn't feel like him and Caramel.

As a migrant worker from the small kingdom of humanity, the Apples were kind enough to pay you a decent wage, and let you live in the hay loft of their barn. It wasn't the Waldorf Astoria, but you've made it into a cozy little homestead. Most of the money you earn is sent back to your wife and son, but after a visit from a certain prince, you realize there are other services you could render for a considerable sum.

Caramel decides to promote stallionism at a Wonderbolt performance. In retrospect, bringing Anon along for support may not have been the best idea.
