Three days ago, in the wee hours of the morning, I made a blog post JFF to celebrate the return of Apple Cider season in, at the very least, the American Upper Midwest.

It has been a while since I talked about the revision of the first two chapters of "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity", so I figured I should inform all of you who still have the fic in their bookshelves or developed a general interest for it about the progress I've made.
So, uh, yeah... I'm going to have to delay the next chapter by about a week.
"What did you just say?"
Sorry.
Don't know why, but I'm just in a dark place right now.
Posting Pones sometimes helps.

As much as I hate to echo the sentiments of a certain infamous author here, I do feel that the show has suffered from the shift in how it's presented Equestria as a setting; in Season 1 in particular, it came off as more of an ambiguous fantasy world with a few unique locations and ill-defined geography. There were references to places like "Los Pegasus" and such, and quite a few anachronisms, but those were done either for a quick
So, every so often, I take a look at what's featured and popular on this site just to see where the trends currently are. I don't really read a lot of FiM based fic these days, since, as I've stated, I'm more interested in Equestria Girls. But I like to know what's going on story-wise around here and I've noticed something that kind of irritates me.
I don't do too much these days on Fimfiction. I'm not gone or anything like that. Just not as active. Still watching all the new MLP when it comes out. Gotta say the second-half of the season has been much much better than the first. That episode with Applejack and her parents? That might be the finest episode of MLP to ever air. Seriously. Ever. The latest episode, about Rarity's mane of all things, featured a magnificent tribute to the Flower Trio surpassing their appearance
Sweetsong slept through Marias Pass, and missed the giant obelisk. She also missed Horse Mountain . . .
Still, she can always come back later and see it in the day. There’s always a train to take her near where she wants to go.
Presenting one of the most talented - and very pretty - violinists I've ever had the pleasure of discovering on YouTube; Lindsey Stirling!
