Revision Progress Report: "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity"

It has been a while since I talked about the revision of the first two chapters of "Journeys and Destinations: A Friendship for Eternity", so I figured I should inform all of you who still have the fic in their bookshelves or developed a general interest for it about the progress I've made.

The last few weeks let the revision, due to some stressful events that happened and because I needed a bit of a break from writing, only progress very slowly, unfortunately. But I could get back to it today and continued with revising, so from now on, progress of it will be steady again.
And since quite some time passed since the last update, here is a little snippet from the latest parts that I revised:

Before:

“But where can we use our talents more? Where could we find a place where I can use my magic and where you can try out your mechanical skills?” They lapsed into silence and thought about what they could do.
Apple Bloom had finished her sandwich now as well and also began to dwell on thoughts. Suddenly she remembered something Granny Smith once told her. It was something about her foalhood and Apple Bloom began to think that this could be the solution for their problem. “Ah think ah know somethin',” she began slowly.
Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle looked at her. “What is it?” Scootaloo asked.
“There is somethin' Granny Smith told me once. When she was a filly, she traveled by herself through Equestria an' had many adventures. She likes to talk about those adventures.”

After:

“But where can we use our talents more? Where could we find a place where I can use my magic and where you can try out your mechanical skills?” Sweetie Belle cast her eyes on the floor and began to ponder these questions.
Apple Bloom and Scootaloo also started to dwell on those thoughts.
While thinking, a memory entered Apple Bloom's mind suddenly, making her look up at her friends. “Ah think ah know somethin' we can do.”
Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle met Apple Bloom's gaze. “What is it?” Scootaloo asked.
“There's somethin' Granny Smith told me. When she was a filly, she traveled by herself through Equestria an' had many adventures. She's often tellin' stories about them.”

So far, all these revisions and changes happen offline. The fic here still shows the unrevised versions of Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.
I don't want that anyone has to read the improved chapters in chopped parts, so I will only replace each chapter as a whole once the revision of it is finished and then announce this in a tagged blog entry.
